    YankeeJim:

wish i hadnt done it as my PC was running WGT to a decent standard of playability.

The only reason to clear your cache is when odd stuff starts happening consistently, like load errors, after a big update or when you buy new clubs. It will take a few rounds around before it "settles down" but this is because WGT has to reload everything you deleted. I suspect you realize this now.

Allowing these new downloads to happens for a few seconds will improve your playability and eliminate that kangaroo. The slower than normal loads are a necessary evil until you get them all back.

yep i realise now so lesson learned is a mistake turned good, and tks for extra info

    regards

    RUNWME:
    I use palemoon

This may be a bit off-topic, but thanks for sharing this "Palemoon" browser. I used Mozilla "Nightly" a year ago when it was still in beta, but got rid of it due to constant crashes.

I'm going to use this Palemoon browser just for the game-client. The colors are so vibrant and everything moves and transitions flawlessly. This Palemoon browser does a few things a browser should do to play the game smoothly.

    • Highly optimized for modern processors
    • 100% Firefox sourced: As safe as the browser that has seen years of development.
    • Uses slightly less memory because of disabled redundant and optional code
    • Significant speed increases for page drawing and script processing
    • Stability: experience fewer browser crashes.
    • Support for SVG and Canvas, and downloadable fonts including WOFF
    • Support for HTML5 and WebGL (v4+)
    • Support for Firefox extensions (add-ons), themes and personas
    • Support for OOPP (Out-of-process plugin execution)
    • Able to use existing Firefox bookmarks and settings with this migration tool

I'm using Firefox version 12.0 now and it was performing good, but I have more then 50 bookmarks and four separate homepages, and it may have been putting a strain on the flash quality.

To the OP, use this Palemoon browser and set it up just for the WGT game-client.
