2002, the final round. I watched quite a bit and it was the first time (even though I haven't been here that long) that I watched a real-life tournament on a course that is here on WGT.
It is very interesting! Man, was the course playing tough that tournament. Out of the entire field, only Tiger Woods shot an under-par score.
No swirling winds here on WGT! It just goes were the arrow says.
They hit so much farther than what would be the rated distance of the clubs here (?)
For example, not this particular tournament, maybe last week I was watching something else, and it is around 150 yds to the hole, wind is not a factor, and the announcer says, Tiger has a 9-iron and that is "plenty of club". But I don't think you can do that here!
Anyway, it was so cool to see a course being played that I've played here (I'm not a golfer IRL) !
