    YankeeJim:

    Subtle:
    I hadn't considered the 3W option

Now THAT before a driver or decent irons  would be a waste of credits at this stage of your game.

    Pardon me for objecting, YJ.

The K15 3WD is 345 cr and rated at 225 yds. In nominal conditions it grants for 450 yds in two solid shots.

Taking the Pro Driver @250 cr will give 245 yds, followed by 210 with the Starter 3WD. 5 yds more but a 2nd shot w/o comparable precision and forgiveness.

Any other solution (better driver, irons) will be more expensive.

I concede that this driver is outstanding in (paper) performance between all drivers up to lvl 26, and perhaps the combination with a decent 3WD would burn the fairways.

You may remember that I once promoted the lvl 47 Rapture 3WD (385 cr, 230 xds). This, plus two Z-Satins, brought me to Master, driverless, and granted for some success in matches with higher-tiered players.

I think you missed the point, Alosso. It wasn't about a specific 3W, it was about spending credits on that as a temporary fix for the OP's situation. And yes, it would be temporary because when he does get the better irons AND a driver he won't have nearly as much need for a 3W. Depending on 2 perfect long shots with a 3W is a recipe for major disappointment, not to mention a poor game plan.  :-)

To the original poster - just forget 3wd's and also any thought of irons in future - YJ has it correct .

In fact, why not go the whole hog?.... 12 wedges/putter/driver is all  you need. Your scores will be poor but you'll get to see every inch of every course.

Just a wee bit of fun - no biting, please.

    ;o)

Of course he needs other equipment lateron. Any buy will be a temporary fix IMO, and - depending on further planning - a 3WD is at least unexpensive.

Rest assured that I had a lot of fun with my 3WD for two months and two tiers (Pro, TP), beating quite a few Masters :)

    And I never owned a 3W until I made Legend. 4 wedges for 2 years.  :-)
