Here's the scorecard for the match which Shaghar reported earlier -

Thanks Brendon for the match summary mate, good work and well played today.

What a great match that was today and it was one hell of a dramatic finish to a great battle between the 2 teams !  It was a real tough match for us as both Chad and Jared played so well and between them I think they only made 2-3 bad shots all day !  I'm just pleased that Brendon and I fought back very hard after we fell behind and I'm relieved that our persistence finally paid off in the end when we managed to even up the match.

Thanks to Chad, Jared and Brendon for a fantastic match, one that i'll remember for a long time that's for sure ! :-)

GO TEAM WORLD !!  GO THE RYDER CUP !!

Icon/ Jakestanfill7 vs Coolswing/ Avlee in the books.  USA wins 3&2.  Some horrible breaks and visits from the beast for Lee.

For the record Seve....Jake/BB vs. Priestess/Infinito was 3&2 as well.

Wowee, just been watching the end of the real life Ryder and the ceremony. It was specially emotional for us in Spain, with the great master of celebrations Jimenez playing his last Ryder and the picture of Seve in the background...

You wanna live something like that? (in a virtual way of course lol) Then go on and win the WGT Ryder Cup! Come on World! Come on USA! Give us something like what we just watched on tele!

    OK Team World,

Now we've seen how its done in real life -  lets get started.

You know what they say - "When the going gets tough - the tough get going"

    GO TEAM WORLD

PS  In RL - what a win to Europe. When you look at the calibre of the USA players (Woods, Michelson and Furyk - world top 3 + the rest ) you really wonder how the Europeans have ever won it ?? LOL  Yet time and time again they come up with the goods. Brilliant stuff.

Master stroke from Monty, playing McDowell off last - just in case it came down to it. Awesome call.

    GO TEAM WORLD

The last of the alternate hole matches will be played on Saturday the 9th, but the rest of you can start playing the fourballs! The draw has been posted on the front page, and my question is: is there any doubt at all that World will win all the matches in this round? :)

Sorry we're such slackers Seve!  We'll definitely get that round in Sat morning.  9am central if any yanks are up that early - I'll try to do the MIRC play by play as well.

dork, thought one of the most interesting things said after the ryder cup was by Grahm, he mentioned Sunday at Pebble was less stressful then the last few holes of the Ryder Cup.  Nice win, feel bad for Mahan.  There is no blame in the loss in my mind, they got beat.  Most played well, some played poorly as a whole, but I feel bad for Mahan.  He look beat up badly by it, to lose the last match is one thing, to not even give yourself a chance by shorting a 4 iron, then duffing a chip, looked tough on him.  I wanted to rag on Pavin, but asides from the color choices and rain gear he did a pretty good job.  It came down to that one session

Need a history buff, has any team ever lost the Ryder Cup even when winning 3 out of 4 sessions besides this year?
