The Nike Ball provides a slower meter speed?  WHY?

I thought this games was striving towards the "best" reflection of reality.

Are you now striving for gimmicks rather than improving quality?

WGT, your gimmicks are taking the reality out of the game!

I would like to see what others think!!

    Thank you, RobertoPro

I think WGT is a business and they are in business to make money. Selling "feel" balls is a great way to do so, therefore, they do.

Also, unlike real golf where as long as you are physically able to swing a club, you can hit a ball. That's not the case on a computer. As you age, your reactions slow. As you may have a physical ailment, your reactions slow. It's a great tool for people of all ages to be able to continue to have fun on the site.

One other thing to note: I see you have a very slow meter speed on your golf clubs. One of the slowest in the game. You are also using a ball with allot of "feel" that slows it even further.

Wait till you step up to the burners and your opinion may change.

Not intended to be smart or arrogant in any way. Just my point of view.

It's any ball with a feel rating above 0 stars.

They all (+0 feel) slow the meter, not just Nikes.

A slower meter helps alot with the top line clubs. The middle/lower clubs, there's not so much avantage to to the "feel" attribute.

It should get faster or harder (less room for error) as you go higher in Tier . Not easier . Just My opinion.

It does. Just compare the meter speed of your Level 25+ Rocketballz Irons to my level 88+ R11 irons. Even with the Nike balls that slow the meter down quite a bit my meter speed is still about twice as fast as yours is. The same holds true for your woods and my woods. And as one of the last posters said age has a lot to do with it as well. I don't know how old you are. But at almost 66 my reflexes have slowed down a lot so the higher feel balls helps me stay somewhat competitive.

Well if your a master or tour pro...then you would say or think that...but when you get to legend, an you get the R11;s an the meter is faster...then the nike balls slow it down...not as much as they do on raptures, an when you hitting sometimes 100yds further...then it does help, An to pjctas0822...when an, if you ever get time(cos you very busy posting in the forums :) ) to get to legend...then you will know why the nike balls help

    Just my opinion

It's not the the slower meter with the Nikes but how the Nikes Play as well.

Hey if you can ding starter balls with high end clubs, good for you, but you better know every inch of every green for the rolls.
