If you want to get better don't quit in the middle of games just because you hit a bad shot. It's bad form and not fair to the other players. In golf a lot can happen in a few short holes,so stick with it. It's only a game.

If its only a game why does it matter?

I think the point is, if you are playing in a multi-player game it is respectful and more fun for everyone in the round if you finish your game with them.  By you leaving it forces everyone to wait for your disconnect and sometimes crashes the game for everyone else (something we are actively trying to fix, but it is hard)

Remember it is just a game and logging a bad score every now and then is not the worst thing, but building WGT friendships is worth a lifetime

experience that's why it matters. if i'm on hole 9 and 3 people disconnect i get experience for a 1 person game, and that's just not cool :|

So its not just a game. 1400 games about 3 games a ball = $466.00 .Never has been not just a game. And thats just the balls. So this guy is worried about his points some us are concerned about the money its costing for a game thats not as 100% as the money were spending. With the money i spent i could get a membership and clubs at a real course and when my shot goes awry i'll know why 100%.Think i'll do that.

So why can't WGT figure out a way to lock in the experience points at the 1st tee based on the total of players in the group.

This way all the quitters can leave whenever they want, and the ones who finish are not penalized Exp. Points.

Aceydeucy - things are a bit more complicated we modeled your solution but quitting actually increased when we locked in the exp at the beginning of the round.  People would get 3 friends, start a round and then the 3 friends would leave and the single player would continue with the extra xp.

We already do our best to reward people for finishing with bonus XP at the end. The only other solution is to punish people for disconnecting and since we cannot determine the cause we do not want to take negative action on the many to stop the few.
