Why not have a minus xp points for quitters

If you quit you lose XP points  from your current amount.

I know sometimes players get cut off but that’s no where near as much as players quitting.

I only play with friends but it would be nice to just click anyone and know there more likely to play/post!

plus it matters because you could spend/waste a lot of time playing with someone while they play there shots and a few holes later they quit,

of course wgt will have to fix the glitch errors for any of this to work!

True, but people still do get disconnected for legit reasons. What about the glitch where when a person leaves the match on their turn, the game freezes for everyone and everyone has to disconnect and finish on their own or do a new round

yes sometimes players do leave for fair and legit reasons so taking XP points of them is unfair maybe have a option where all players in the game agreed that the player is able to leave the game there for not losing any XP points from their current amount but by leaving they don't gain any but all the remaining players still get there full amount.

yea the glitch is a major problem which has to be fixed for any of the points in above posts to work sadly!

Aceydeucy - things are a bit more complicated we modeled your solution but quitting actually increased when we locked in the exp at the beginning of the round.  People would get 3 friends, start a round and then the 3 friends would leave and the single player would continue with the extra xp.

So you really believe this would happen a lot? lol!  You mean there are 'People" who would form such a conspiracy?  So what if the one remaining player gets those extra points... that just gets him/her closer to buying that expensive driver you guys sell.  That's more money for WGT.

I really do not understand this logic, sorry.

If someone really wanted decent points without relying on others they can play 18 holes and get 400 points plus.Don't know about anyone else but there are days when the un expected happens at home.unannounced guest, family issues on and on. The home front would come first as it does with a lot of people here.I think anyone who can say they would finish any game lives by themselves in a closet. It wouldn't matter if they had a quad bogey when  a person left with home issues or any other issue that was important to them.I agree with acey on what he said above its hard to comprehend.I think if you start penalizing people you might see an exodus.Golf is a game of percentages and playing with others on the internet has its own percentages.

We already do our best to reward people for finishing with bonus XP at the end. The only other solution is to punish people for disconnecting and since we cannot determine the cause we do not want to take negative action on the many to stop the few.

Yet you are happy to steal "won" credits from people for when they disconnect during a skins challenge. Makes no sense to me.

Yeah, HATE quiters. In the first hole on a alternate shot when a partner has a bad shot, they just leave the game. Can't you just get over it? Masters complain about that and then it turns into all this chaos. I hope nobody quits anywhere at anytime random time!

These are all decent ideas and I have submitted them to the game designers

I really get this issue. the possibility of cheating or worse is real. I play in real life, i hardly spend any money on my real clubs, won't spend real money here either..  But, I'd NEVER walk off the course in real life in the middle of a round. That is the most unforgivable act of turd behavior. ame goes with this game. Only you know if you got booted by your network or not. just like in the real game, only you know if you cheat.. you only hurt yourself and probably do other turd like things thinking you are so clever.. Well, live in your own little world..
