Well, emergencies do happen. People get called in to work. Some folks are on call a lot of the time such as firemen, electricians, plumbers, etc., and can be called away at any time. People get sick. There's any number of legit reasons why someone might be interrupted from playing or finishing, and I don't think it's a bad thing that they might have enough time to finish later.
But I don't understand why once an RG has filled and a new one started, why the players who have posted in the filled RG can't go ahead and play in the new one. In other words, give folks the 12 hours to play the RG, but don't make the other players wait to play the next one.
