WGF Tour 2012 - Visit W8 & W9 threads

  New sign-ups are now closed for WGF 2012.

  We still have over two weeks to go before the Memorial Tournament gets the tour underway but we don't want to create an unmanageable workload which affects the enjoyment of all the players who've joined the tour to date.

  We'll have a discussion between management and the scorers to see if we can take on another 40 or so players to go up to 250 in total but currently this isn't an option. We've gone slightly over the max number (205 sign-ups) but all who are on the registered player list will participate in the tour.

  New sponsors are always welcome but as stressed, this is a free tour for those who have joined unless you want to offer credits to the pooled total.

  Hi Jim,

  I just got a job so I need to change my times to (I'm GMT -5) evenings 7pm-10pm est and Saturdays anytime, Sundays 7am-1pm est.

  Reporting and follow other players, there are misunderstandings about the time zone. I wrote GMT +2 (see http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/), but I see that the players from Germany, Italy wrote GMT +1 (such as Serbia)! Since the summer London +1 relative to UTC (UTC is Coordinated Universal Time), and if you took it as a parameter, then I: GMT +1!

  All players who've signed up will receive PM's / wall posts, a few days prior to the Tour starting. I've been busy with work for the last few days and the focus is still on the US Open currently so nothing has changed re the start date.

  Again to reiterate, please can all participants ensure that they know how to post a scorecard / screenshot prior to starting the tour.
