    bubbadork:

Just to clarify, all spin is backspin.  The top and bottom positions of the dot represent the least amount and the greatest amount for the given ball and club.

It's very difficult to put topspin on a ball unless you top it, and believe me you don't want to. The Magnus Effect would cause your ball to dive.

In real life yes but this is NOT real life. The view people are taking equates to the spin put on a ball by snooker or pool players. Hit it above the middle - top spin and below the middle back spin. Simples.

    DrShelby:

no wonder a 4 player stroke game took over 3 hours for me the very day i started playing this game, charts ruin games like this & there's no point for a player like me and many others who wanna play something as close to real gold without having to get off there ass, i hear of almost everyone i know with a chart and it's just lame, aren't video games meant to be fun, anyways that's just my 2 cents, enjoy the grind cause i sure wont be..

You stick to what you want but 2 things.  I calculate shots very quickly, 20 seconds max so to class some one who uses a graph as being slow is stupid.  You will get a lot of players taking their time on shots regardless if they use graphs, don't use graphs or have Mr WGT telling them what to do.  My graph is all in my head and is access-able in seconds.  And secondly, its got me into position of winning ready go's so i can have fun whilst making $$ in the process.  You carry on doing what you feel is best for you, i couldn't care less, but i know who gets most back from the game.

Whoah back Tiger. You'll give people the wrong idea. Nobody earns dollars on this site, only credits. Then even if they save enough of those to get a gift card at an exorbitant exchange rate, it still isn't real money.

Yes, the exchange rate is ridicilous, but so far i've bought a north face gortex jacket (essential for the rainiest place in UK) with gift cards, so it might not be cash in hand, but the cash i would have spent to buy something i can put it back in my pocket and use the gift card.  Poker sites aside, i dont know any where else where you can get something back for having fun playing a online game.

Chris, it is a great chart, graph. It can help others understand the reaction from each iron and you need not, explain your thoughts (you already have, the graphs do work). If this is to much don't use it, than there is others. Very Good Work! Thank You

After reading some of the responses, the center of the ball is not always neutral, If there is a face on the green or fairway that will change the effect, also the wind does the same, clubs being used etc..

Great charts Mr. Bones lol - too bad I didn't find these sooner. I can see where these would have been a huge help to me when I first started with the R11s.  Thanks again.

And yeah, don't let the whiners get to ya.
