My question was already answered. As for the answer. The forums are the same. Still no change in keeping it cleaned up.

The only change in the forums is more interaction with the members, but is there really any change in the site to be better? No. This kind of goes with the second answer.

Second question answered too. Bugs are still not getting fixed. Lots and Lots still in the bug section of the forum. Left undone.

    ArrVeeAussie:
You have absolutely no idea of whether there is a good reason or not.

I can't think of any good, valid reason off the top of my head, do you have any?

    ArrVeeAussie:
And this all has nothing whatsoever with sandbagging...

Multi-accounts and sandbagging are complimentary.  A highly skilled player starts a new account, advances to a lower level (say Tour Pro or Master) then after being moved up shoots some "bad" rounds to raise their average (sandbagging) to look "attractive" to an opponent.   Then, due to their advanced skills from their 1st account, rapes and pillages MPCs, tournaments, and Blitz challenges to reap credits.  Sandbagging has everthing to do with multi-accounting.  My 2 cents.

    MioKontic:

WGT - why not just come out and say "we allow multiple accounts, we allow sandbagging".  There is absolutely no reason good enough that someone should have to start a new account, but for ArrVeeAussie to (re)start many times says that you haven't a clue what is happening.  What reasons are good enough to start that many times???

It's time to come out and say what you really mean, or buckle up and do something about the situation.

Icon's and Pizza's posts are an absolute disgrace for any honest business in my opinion.  If you are going to allow this, then you should scrap all forum moderation and allow people to name and shame the cheating tw*ts!  At least we'll then know what we're up against.

    DISGRACEFUL!

    Hi

How many times someone restarts is up to them. The key difference is what they do then. Clearly abusing that for profit is 1 of the key things we look at.

As he had stated, he has not done so, and if he had, then it would be a different story.

This discussion is fine, we always read it and it helps us to setup policies and re-evaluate ones we have in place, but please do not use it to attack members.

It's the most important question that us WGT players have by and large.

Do I/we wan't to sink credits into RG's that are going to be raked in by sandbagging clowns. Not the great shooters but guys like me that half suck at this game.

I worked hard & fast to get myself back up to TM as soon as possible, earning around $23 along the way from CC tourneys & ready go's.

I think this may be what most people would call objectionable.  You had a distinct advantage. Regardless of your motives, perception is reality.

Unrelated question for you-why do you stop at TM? Runwme is a Legend and one of the most generous players here. He didn't have to restart to do that. Just curious.

The only way to avoid infinite restarting is to make Legend status, a place players want to be.

There is nothing to win by becoming legend, beside the respect... every tier can play ready to go's every tier can acces equipemnt (level plays a role here)... the only thing that change as legend, is that game is harder and that is the reason they restart.

If game is harder, but better as legend, then why restart?

how to make game better as legend? make a difference to be there, so player will want it instead of avoid it. Stuff like: more tournaments, more courses, more equipement, more features, more prizes, better support... and a lot of things that can make a player happy to be a legend... can make a difference.

IMO,jvr, it goes beyond the material gains. Most real golfers want to play with the best as it helps them to be their best. If you're in this for what you can gain, that respect can't be bought.  ;-)

    Rich1064:

    ArrVeeAussie:

The point I have been trying to get across is the difference between a multi-accounter....someone who has more than one account running at the same time, and a re-starter...someone who has closed an account before opening a new one.

So many are having trouble distinguishing between the 2

    Rob :)

Rob, you have been calling people ignorant for not being able to distinguish between a Multi-accounter and a Re-starter but I think it is you who is confused. YOU claim to KNOW the difference and are here and now stating that you are a Re-starter...... BUT....just 7 days ago in your last CC you ended up ADMITTING to being a MULTI-ACCOUNTER. So which of your two conflicting statements are we to believe?

You have admitted your identity on some of your past (now closed) profiles, so it is in black and white in wgt’s closed accounts data that you were definitely ‘robvanblue’,  kayvan’,  ‘belinda74’, ‘Aussierob56’, ‘Thelonestranger’ and ‘Legendinwaiting’ amongst others which you have yet to admit to.

Let’s take a look at the facts on these profiles:

    Robvanblue -          Start date: 02/10/2010 / Closed date: 11/10/2011

    Kayvan -                   Start date: 14/01/2011 / Closed date: 02/12/2011

    Belinda74 –            Start date:  28/03/2011 / Closed date: 07/12/2011

    Aussierob56 –        Start date: 20/08/2011 / Closed Date: 12/10/2011

    Thelonestranger – Start date: 22/10/2011 / Closed date: 11/11/2011

    Legendinwaiting – Start date: 12/12/2011 / Closed date: 30/01/2012

Can anyone spot any glaring 'overlaps?'

By your own admissions YOU have clearly been MULTI-ACCOUNTING. Are we NOW to believe that you are just a Re-starter?

New question for WGT, why is it that after bringing this guy’s wrong doings to your attention many times since last October he is still allowed an account (or two)? Why is it that he can post in this forum at will yet mine are still being moderated, is it because he spends a lot more dollars on here with his gifting in his quest ‘How to win friends and influence people?’

And the general question is why is it that I can put this information together and join the dots but wgt have failed to?

Well looks to me like you had a few account's ongoing at the same time...So what does that tell you???

Sure thing, 100% with you on that... problem is not everyone seek for that respect.

In my case I love being legend, I wouldn't restart just for the reason of losing all the respect and things I have achieve... but this is me... I was thinking in a general way, of some of the reasons player don't want to tier up.
