Dates for each round:
Round 1 - start Thursday 28th June, finish Sunday 8th July.
Round 2 - start Monday 9th July, finish Sunday 15th July.
Round 3 - start Monday 16th July, finish Sunday 22th July.
Round 4 (QF) - start Monday 23th July, finish Sunday 29th July.
Round 5 (SF) - start Monday 30th July, finish Sunday 5th August.
FINAL - start Monday 6th August, finish Sunday 12th August.
Course setup for each round:-
All games should be set with a 90-second timer, Matchplay, in Practice Mode, with the following conditions:
Round 1 – Kiawah 18 holes, Default hole locations, Gold tees, Fast greens, Moderate wind.
Round 2 – St Andrews 18 holes, Easy hole locations, Yellow tees, Standard greens, Moderate wind.
Round 3 – Oakmont 18 holes, Hard hole locations, Blue tees, Very Fast greens, Low wind.
Round 4 (qtr-final) – Bethpage 18 holes, Medium hole locations, Red tees, Fast greens, High wind.
Round 5 (semi-final) – Olympic 18 holes, Default hole locations, Blue tees, Fast greens, Low wind.
Round 6 (final) – Congressional 18 holes, Default hole locations, Champion tees, Very Fast greens, Moderate wind.
Prizes:
Winner - 3 sleeves of balls plus equipment from pro shop or 2500cr worth of balls.
Runner-up - 2 sleeves of balls plus 1250cr worth of equipment from pro shop.
Losing semi-finalists - 2 sleeves of balls.
Losing quarter-finalists - 1 sleeve of Nikes.
3rd round losers - 1 sleeve of Callaways.
Random draw from 1st and 2nd round losers - 1 sleeve of Srixons.

Someone asked in another thread about a 'starter clubs and balls' tournament. There are a lot of tournaments going on at the moment, but most seem to be for the top players of the game, so I am prepared to run a starter clubs/balls tournament for anyone who wishes to enter, no restriction on tier or level.
The tournament will be limited to 64 entries and be run on a knockout basis using a random draw for the 1st round match-ups. The tournament will start as soon as the places are filled, and once I have figured out how to do a tournament bracket. All games will be played in practice mode so that certain tees can be
selected, and each round will be on a different course and played over
the full 18 holes. The only clubs that can be used are the normal starter set that comes free of charge when you first joined the game. No beginner equipment allowed, including the putter (it is unfair as newer players don't have beginner equipment). Starter Plus clubs will not be allowed either as they are pay-for clubs.
If we don't get 64 entries, then some players will get a bye into the 2nd round. All rounds to last no more than one week (Monday morning to Sunday night), although I am prepared to be a little flexible as it is holiday season... so long as people don't abuse the privilege.
Thank you to everyone who has donated prizes. I will draw up a list of things in due course for which prizes can be won.
