    Hi putt4gold,

There is no cashout option, however, that unfortunately doesn't change the designation away from skill-gaming.  It's also important to keep in mind that skill-gaming and gambling are two different animals from a legal standpoint and WGT is not a gambling site.

We would love to be able to offer tournaments to everyone, that would be in our interest for sure, but various local restrictions prevent us from being able to do so.  Unfortunately, I'm not on the legal team, so I couldn't provide you with the exact reasoning or the specific details, but suffice it to say our attorneys have looked into the matter quite thoroughly and this is how we must operate in order to remain compliant with all of the various regulations.

Theres only one reason that WGT's lawyer's can deem this gambling. That would be because WGT has the Elite Collection which you can cash credits in for merchandise and gift cards. There is no other reason because these credits and everything you can buy in this game is.....ready WGT?.....VIRTUAL. Yes you guys that built this game should very well know the definition of this word.... "that which is not real".....yep not real. The only thing real is the money you give WGT. And in return you get VIRTUAL credits, clubs, balls....ect. Now if you are fortunate enough to live in certain states or countries you can win actual money and prize's as well as virtual credits.

So with this said,  WGT could fix this and make everyone happy by eliminating the Elite Collection and only awarding money and prizes to those only in these gambling states and countries.  As for credits.....there would then be no way to cash them in and would make it completely virtual.

Its not fair to all of us to take our REAL money to buy VIRTUAL credits, VIRTUAL clubs and VIRTUAL balls.....which you take back from us to get more of our REAL money......and in return we can't even win VIRTUAL credits.

If your said "legal team" would look into this. I think they could make this work out for all of us to enjoy this game. If you can build such a nice game as this.....certainly you could make this happen.

How hard would it be for WGT to issue gift certificates to the pro shop equal to the winning tournament purse? That way you wouldn't be giving money or prize's away, only virtual credits to be used on virtual clubs, balls......ect. Certainly that would not fall under these local restrictions. So if it was really in your interest to make this game more enjoyable  for all.....why has nothing been done to make something happen?

heres something i dont understand too. if this is a 'GAMING" SITE and not a "GAMBLING SITE" why is WGT taking a 20% cut of every tournament you pay to get into?   Thats what casino's do.  Its called the "HOUSE CUT" FOR running the game. If this was a true "GAMING" SITE they WOULD NOT be taking a cut of anything. They would make their money on the equipment they sell etc.  You pay real money to play but they give you "CREDITS" in return. Lets just say WGT is basically legalizing stealing. Ive had my fill of this site.
