Heh-Nobody asks permission or requests account disabling.

true, anyone can create WGT account as many different email they can make... so is a problem tha will not disappear.

like Multiaccounts, they are against rules, yet there are a lot of multiaccounters here.

Again it is very hard to police but to openly say it is fine to close your account and start a new one I have a problem with.  I know changing their policy on restarting won't stop the problem but it also won't encourage it as their policy does now.

they need to make it harder to progress through the tiers would people start again if the were going to be stuck at hack for say 150 rank rounds x amount of months had to post sub set scores on all the courses or complete a number of skill challenges get to a certain level before moving up. just make the hack tier a training tier. no ready go's no mp challenges. if it was going to take someone say 10 months to get back up to say tour master would they bother

cross check cedit card details and addresses to see if the same name comes up on more than one account.

have a amnesty for anyone with more than one account, better owning up than being caught.

ban gifting drivers or iron sets. some people with multiple accounts will gift themselves all the gear. block the loophole.

all the above might not stop the problems but they would make it harder and more difficult for the cheats.

Until there's teeth in the enforcement, like Plim's great idea, they can restart their policy all they want, it's moot unless it bites. And I don't mean suck bites, I mean hurt.

I totally agree too that something needs to be done.  The rule the OP stated used to exist, but WGT took it out of their Terms and Conditions, and I'm pretty certain I know why.  Unfortunately, WGT wouldn't police it, so I don't think it would work.

As many have said in the past, I think what needs to happen is to make it difficult for multi-accounters/restarters to gain anything from creating new accounts.  I wasn't here when clubs were restricted to tier, but I do believe that is the way to go.  Balls should be restricted to tier too.

Also, players should be moved up tiers based on their earnings as well as average.  I gave an example in a post a few weeks ago on how winning in MPC's and Skins games should affect ones average so that players can't stay at a lower tier by hiding behind those games.  Or, put a limit to how much can be won at each tier, but make it so that it is not worth staying at low tiers.
