WGT could have a clause, that if a person leaves WGT, there would be a time (example - 1 or even 2 years,) that if this person comes back to WGT within the time frame they would start back right where they left off, with the same equipment. If they come back after this time frame, they could start as a new beginner. That is if they are honest enought to come back with the same name ?????   lmaf

    Just a thought.

Also, players should be moved up tiers based on their earnings as well as average.  I gave an example in a post a few weeks ago on how winning in MPC's and Skins games should affect ones average so that players can't stay at a lower tier by hiding behind those games.  Or, put a limit to how much can be won at each tier, but make it so that it is not worth staying at low tiers.

Very good ideas Mio, and I hope the folks at WGT take note of it..

I dont play many $ games on here, but IRL I have been sanbagged waaay too many times...

    That is an awesome idea

Be honest, does anyone actually care who starts over? Just play the game and let people be who they want to be. No one will lose a single credit by doing so

True Richard, but look at it this way...even in a free weekly..

A true hack/am...etc is busting his/her butt to learn the game, and enters a weekly single play after being here a month and shoots a career best 32...says "yea" and looks at the leader board and sees the top scores at 28 29....etc by guys who have been here for 3 days..

Its not the paltry 50 credits he/she would have won, but being Ninja'ed by MA'ers and not having a fair chance at a "win".

Now move on to tier specific RG's and it's the same thing.

Just today I checked the SA F9 RG I entered, what caught my eye was a level 25 who shot a 32? I think it was, liked on the profile and see the player joined a week ago...plays nothing but tourneys and on the join date shot under par at KI.

Oh....never a round over par either and only 5 or 6 bogies...now imagine this "pro" playing tier specific RG's...and in effect cheating real Pro's (and most likely his earlier Tiered comps) out of their rightful earnings.

As Legends, you are correct, it doesn't affect us at all.  But for the new folks joining, they are not playing on a level field.

Of course it affects Legends as well!!!!  Do you not remember last year some time when a 'new' player with a low level/tier won an all-player RG?  Then the top players piped up because someone beat them.  It's a shame they think it's unimportant when everyone else is getting beat daily by these cheats.

    Sorry Mio

    I don't remember that.

My text as you quoted was meant to imply that there are no SB's and MA'er in my tier that worry me.

I know ya have passion Mio

    Keep on it Bro.

It's a damned game. Some of you seem to want a list of rules the size of the phone book. Just calm down and have fun, the game was never meant to be taken this seriously.

True. It is a game. And games are meant to have fun. Agreed on that.

However ... how much fun do you think it is for the player who MBaggese described, going a tourney on St. Andis shooting the score of his career here - just to see it get shot out of the water by someone who joined 3-4-5 days ago, never went above par, never bogied anything, and still run of with the winnings?

Exactly where is the fun for that particular player?
But hey - you don't need to worry about that. You're safe and sound piz - right? You don't ever get beaten by someone who joined a few months back - reached legend tier, has all the best equipment for his/her level, and am still "only" lvl 40?

My point here is, the fun is suddenly gone, when you have no chance in hell of even be close to winning - or even be runner up - because of someone like above mentioned player.

But who cares about anyone else having fun piz - right? As long as you have fun. >.<

Hey, no need for aggression. I'm allowed my opinion. It seems I've had it wrong all these years. I didn't realise that you couldn't have fun without winning. I've never won anything on here, not even in my country club. I think some people's ideals need bringing down a notch.
