I don't know if others have been following the discussions about WGT's restarting policy but according to WGT administrators they don't have a problem with players closing their accounts and restarting a new account.  This being the case... there are players that have new accounts that were previously Tour Masters or even Legends.  No wonder why the tournament scores at the lower tiers are so low.  In my opinion this policy needs to be evaluated.  If you agree... please respond to this forum and hopefully WGT administrators will take a different stand on their "restarting policy".

My suggestions is to allow the restart but not allow credit play until the player reaches the level previously attained?  Not sure if that is a good answer but other suggestions would I'm sure be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for helping to look out for the lower tiered players and the integrity of the game....

    I'd agree with that.

But in reality I think we'd just find many dormant accounts.

OK. WGT says no more. Then what?

Heh-Nobody asks permission or requests account disabling.

I reached Master at level 46 but the clubs I wanted were level 58. It was frustrating, so I started a new player with a different email account. I played a couple of days and easily posted better scores with starter clubs. But it just didn't feel right. What's the point? It's like repeating high school so you get better grades the 2nd time around. I'd rather challenge myself and continue on the path I had already begun.

So, to all you players who reach master early in your career, just go with it.. it'll get easier and more rewarding, I promise.

This is a total non- issue to me.

I don't care if someone is on the their 2nd or 20th account.. legit or otherwise. If I'm playing a credit match/ skins and lose , it's simply because I didn't make enough putts to win.

The problem is... people do... and they allow it.  You are right though YJ... it is too hard to police.  I think the flaw they truely need to work out is their Tier/Level/Club system.

What about tier level ready-go's and monthly credit play tournaments?  I know it doesn't matter to me anymore either being Legend but it is not fair to those players that are learning how to play the right way.
