Who's aggressive? Youre entitled to your opinion. No argument from me there.

But dont tell everyone else to calm down and presume theyre talking about wanting a rule book. As far as I see it - you should grant the right of opinion to everyone else, as you claim it for yourself.

    And seriously? Thats your argument?

    ... I didn't realise that you couldn't have fun without winning. ...

Lemme ask you one thing then - why do you play a competitive game, where you can play against other players - sometimes for the chance of winning rewards?
If youre just here to have fun and dont care about winning - then you can play all the friendly matches you want. No need to enter any tournaments - right?

(Btw - question is not meant as an aggressive one - I seriously want to know ;) )

The only time WGT is ever gonna take the serious action against Multi A's & Restarters is when it effects their $$$.

Multi Accounters.....Restarters etc......actually effect the WGT $$$ in a proactive way (it increases their income via pro shop sales....increases/doubles/triples their player database) so don't expect anything do be done about it. They've said there are things they can do to combat it but what results have we seen.? As soon as one account gets closed another 1 or 2 open up....and that's just a conservative guess.

If even 20% of regular players stopped buying balls & equipment as a protest, then and only then may you see the WGT bigwigs sit up and listen. This most likely will never happen, so you're on plumbs from the outset.

Agreed. All the while multi-accounters are winning the lower tier tournaments and collecting up all the credits the rest of the lower tier players are putting in money.

This game is not just for fun.  Why?  Because there are real prizes worth thousands of dollars.  Agreed, most of us stand no chance of winning any of these, but it won't stop some doing everything they can to try and get those prizes.

WGT is a business..........does anyone honestly expect WGT to make a conscious decision, or even any decision for that matter which would see their income fall dramatically? Don't be crazy.

Quite a simple business plan actually....even a Munki could succeed.

    1. Make as much money we can anyway we can.

    2. Let folks have as much fun as they can just as long as it don't effect our $$$ profits.

    3. See Rule 1.

Totally agree tbe. This is the case for most F2P games out there. Only way to hurt them is on their wallets. Sadly that wont never happen.
Which I think the game companies are very well aware. So I dont expect anything to be done about this issue either.
    Countermeasures?
    Yeah right ;)

    Here's the rub though.

The way technology is moving forward and the speed at which it is moving will determine everything. Gaming companies now acknowledge their once highly popular games are severely under threat due to the shift away from pc's & laptops to iPads and other tablets.

Many popular games have gone under due to this shift away....compacted by the fact that their flash based games don't work on ipads Even if you do manage to install the crappy hybrid flash app, it sucks and you need to grow another set of hands to play this game on it.

Flash based games shelf lives are getting shorter all the time.

I cannot answer for Piz or anyone else, but i think the answer will be self explanatory when you make Legend my friend.
