Love the Nation Putting Challenge in ctth tournnaments

  I have mentioned this before. I do not believe it is possible to get these scores without using some aid to enable them to score so low. I do not want to use the word "cheating" but I think it is the only one to use. 

  This is not "sour grapes" on my part. I for one decided some time ago that I will never enter an Open Competition of any kind where an Entry Fee is required.

  It is my opinion, and it will never change that there are a few unscrupulous people about that will do whatever it takes to WIN. 

  I do love playing WGT, but come on, lets have a level playing field. !!!

  Someone shoots a great score and the old "cheating" accusations surface.

  "Unscrupulous people". HOW DARE YOU! You do not know the person who shot the score and yet because he has the patience and skill to master all those putts he must be doing "whatever it takes to win"

  Well if winning means practising time after time and making notes and believing you can achieve that special score, then yes ....thats what it takes to win.

  Clearly, instead of putting in a similar time and effort you have decided to call out someone on the forum and cast spurious accusations with absolutely no foundation in fact.

  I happen to know the player who shot 2.28ft.....he is a member of my club, we talk and play daily via Skype. I can assure you that no cheat programs are involved, how would they help with this anyway??

  Personally I admire the people who have the diligence and skill to shoot low, I can't abide people who like me, are not able to achieve those scores, but choose to cast aspersions on those that can.   Witherspoon.....go and practice mate....it helps !

  I'll back what BC17 has said here 100%. I'm the owner of the CC that the player who shot the 2.28 is in, and can vouch for him absolutely! He wouldn't have a place in our club if there was any doubt in my mind. Anyway, why would someone cheat to shoot the lowest score in a competition where the payout is by random sweepstake? As already said, just because you can't do it, it doesn't mean nobody else can !

  Hi JVR, you can pay me back by getting up to the top of the leader board, lol. Thanks for the tip on 7, i have tried it a few times, and its a better way to get there, cheers.

  From these replays people can see that the holes are possible to putt out,  no chipping needed, forgot to save a replay of the times i aced 8 but 7 is the only one ive yet to ace...no cheating or aids needed , just patience, notes and a lot of time lol.

  If certain people took the time and actually learned from the missed putts then im sure there would be no need to throw the word "cheat" around", check my profile...i must have played it a 100 times not including the restarts lol...yes i have too much time on my hands but im trying to be the first to get the elusive perfect score...no prizes involved, just personal satisfaction,like when Runwme got the 1st 49....tagets are there to be achieved,not bitched about lol..anyway peace all. Darren

  I'm in the same CC as Devildaz and I'm 100% sure he doesn't use any programs.  I practiced that putting thing too over the weekend, didnt even swing an iron the last two days.  My score came down from 30 to 11ft.  If it wasn't for the seventh hole, i'm 100% sure i would be able too shoot around 4ft in total.

  Anyway, if anyone suspects he uses any programs, bare in mind the guy is even too cheap and tight to play skins games and buy some decent balls :-)

  Here we go again :) .

  I have to admit that I smiled when I saw the leading score. But I didn't smile because I thought that such a score is impossible, I smiled because it's incredible how people are devoted to this game and tenacious. They have all my admiration and my respect. Yes I respect those who work hard to achieve something!

  It's obvious that there is no cheating. Why would they cheat? Posting such a low score when you are cheating is dangerous because you are immediately under the spotlight. And above all there is no money to win for the leader, it's random drawing :) . So actually the leader has lost quite some credits due to the wasted balls (because he obviously restarted a large number of time).

  9 holed putts will give a score of 0ft.

  By the way, a few posts earlier, someone has posted replays of them putts being made......by all means go view them.
