Has anyone suggested head to head country club challenges? Where country clubs battle one another to see who's best. Think it would be lots of fun!

    These happen all the time.

it would be nice though to let club owners
the option to create cross-cc tournaments,
meaning tournaments that only the 2 clubs can play,
as oppose to the personal match play format,
where you have to adjust your schedule to the other player.

having the option to create a multi-CC tournament,
where 2 or more country clubs can play for say, lowest accumulated cc score,
would be a brilliant addition to the current cc features available.
and wgt can create its own cc tournaments,
where the best wgt clubs would be listed, much like the best individual players
are currently ranked on the site. and maybe credits can be given
to the top 5-10 or so clubs, that would be divided amongst
the players who took part in the tournament.

any admins out there taking notes? this would be awesome,
and give a whole new life to the cc scene  :-)

    hi

that seems overly complicated for something that already been done.

just make a bracket and have them play match play:)

it's too bad you choose to overlook the country club scene in wgt,
it's a very big part of this experience, and you're really not trying
to help it develop more. one of the best things about WGT is the social aspect,
and the BEST thing in this social aspect is the country clubs.
imo, you're missing a great opportunity to make this game and this place
grow even bigger and better, and that's a shame.

I'm sure building this site, and mapping all these beautiful courses might
    also be considered overly complicated.

if you choose not to evolve, you're doomed to be left behind.

This is more along the lines of what I'm referring to. Country Club vs. Country Club - Here in Orlando Fl every year Islesworth battles Lake Nona to see who's country club is the best.

I think pitting Country Clubs against each other for prestige would be a great way to get everyone involved and would certainly bound members of of the same country clubs.

I don't know, I don't think what I'm suggesting has been done before and maybe it's too complicated or there's not enough interest. I just think it would take things to another level.

Sure, country clubs rock. I love them too. But I am saying it can be be done now and with easy, so why not do it instead of waiting:).

Inter CC Tourneys work great the way they are arranged already.

Game improvements are happening all the time as well as other ideas being in the pipeline but progression takes time.

I  think CC Team Captains like the real life feel of matching players against opposing CC Players....as well as corresponding with other CC Team Captains etc. It keeps it real.

True tbe it works very well the way it is now. And as you play the matches you make new friends as well. If it was just where you could hit a few key strokes and set up a tourney with stroke play you might not even know who you are actually playing against.
