Before I get blasted for not using the search bar, I've made a post about this awhile back. I decided to make a brand new one to start a fresh new conversation - argument free.

Everyone on the PGA Tour is considered a Legend if you compare it to WGT. They are the best of the best. They can have any equipment they want because they earned it.

For the Legends in WGT, I know it is hard to deal with not being able to have any piece of equipment that you want. For those of you who know me, I became legend very fast. I accomplished it in just under two months at level 71. I panicked because I thought that I couldn't play anymore due to not being a required level to get the better equipment I needed.

Allow Legends to have any equipment they wish. They've earned it. I want the R11 irons and the R11S driver.

Let's say Tiger Woods is level 100. We all know he has played a lot of gold in his life. Let's say Rory McIlroy is level 70. They are both Legends. Rory shouldn't be denied equipment because he is younger or in my case "less experienced" than Tiger.

Sandbaggers or high-level, lower-tiered players will actually have no choice but to advance to a higher tier to get that better piece of equipment.

It's a win win situation for WGT and its customers. Think of something logical to make this happen, and implement it. You will gain much more support from this.

    Totally agree with you 100%

The difference between the R11 irons for example and the other irons is so far apart it is game breaking.

I'm about 1/4 of the way through lvl 89 at the moment and I will buy the R11s driver and the R11 irons right away when i get to 90.

Stopping the 5/4/3 G20 irons with full backspin on 90% of the legend tourney greens is just imposible while i see my mates hit 3 irons with no spin and the balls lands and stops like a rock.

    L ;)

Exactly. I feel that I should use whatever I want since I achieved the highest status of the game. LEGEND

They should leave level system for equipment as it is, that is necessary for the business model to work (to buy the high level stuff you need to level up and that means you need to play a lot = $). But they need to add the tier requirements on top of that to inspire people to reach not only new levels, but also new tiers.

I assume one of the problem of start using the tier limit more in shop is that there is players that own equipment that they would not be able to use if the requirements for a certain club was changed from Hack to Legend, but I think that problem would easily be solved by giving them a refund on the equipment. This is a beta and we have all agreed that WGT may do such things if they wish.

They can make changes that only take affect after the update. Just as they are doing with the R11S, they are changing it to level 94, but the people who had it already will not be affected.

Maybe they can, but to get rid of some  sandbaggers, take their R11 out of the bag and offer a refund.

I doubt they would do that. Before you make a purchase, they state in fine print that attributes and specs of the equipment are approximate and can be modified. READ

They could slightly decrease some of the attributes for the previous equipment holders that didn't fit under the new system.

If you make equipment tier specific, Cherry picking will be the results. In other words,

people will start canceling rounds that are not there best. ( We had this problem before)

    Its far worse!

However (Listen WGT) If you tie that too experience points and don't reward points when

a round does not get completed. You may have something that works. And if you add a completion %, then you will have something awesome. IMHO!

The last time I posted this argument, WGT pulled my post without an explanation.

Don\t get stuck on that part. They can do whatever they want since the beta terms clearly forces you to accept that they can do anything with your equipment and stats if the want to. I did not say what they should do, I simply gave my view and a possible solution to one of the problems that would occur if tier requirements was changed.
