Much as I agree that this is a great idea, I do not see any chance of this ever being implemented.

There would simply be way too much administrative work to be done by WGT within the confines of the CC forums attached to the site.

Groups, subgroups, individual rights within groups... name it, it's all there.

The answer to the long suffering CC owners requests for improvements is simple:

Move your CC main forum "off-site" - ie set up a forum away from WGT where you can apply your own administrative rules, sub-rules and so forth.

Not ideal, I 100% agree. Most players do not want to have to sign up for another site just to play in a CC. However, this is the only way the CC owner is ever going to have the tools they need to run a club efficiently.

This is one of the reasons (the main one) I sold my CC - pure frustration with the lack of tools available withing WGT combined with members reluctance to sign up where the tools could be made available.

I spent hours making an off-WGT site available to my members, complete with Chat Room and a host of other nice "extras". Approximately 25% signed up!

I know of other owners who have set up very elaborate web sites with a fair amount of success but I am sure they have had similar frustrations to mine.

A lot of owners would be happy just to have controls that work.

I am very lucky to have some great members in OUR CC who love to help out(makes my life much more pleasant and i only hope they know how much i appreciate the work they do) , they set tournaments and record and post results for all the members to view.

But agree with the afore mentioned suggestions.
