There's a par 5 on St. Andrews that blows me up.  False front and a pin tucked just over it.  Anything that makes it over that tier slopes away from you.  It's hard to stop a WGT ball there with a 45yd LW within 30ft.

On the hole your refering to, I've found if I Play my 2nd shot as far left as possible it negates the majority of the slope and makes it much easier to stop the ball.

From the tips it is Oakmont #9 - no question.  A birdie feels like eagle and a par often brings a huge sigh of relief.

#15 Bethpage Black, front left pin. No doubt for me, and everything at Olympic.

Mmmmmm, the hardest hole on WGT ?

Think about it guys ! the answer is easy !

As I have touched on before, but many of you still haven't got the message, whilst many of us girls on here may be friendly,

We are the hardest hole ! A hole In one is never going to be made !

    Lipan24D:

How come for the masters tees on BPB 15 it is 478 and for legends its 458. Anybody know or is my information wrong?

you are right. Imagine my disbelief when I invited a friend, a new legend, to Best of Hardest and saw him having a 30 yds advantage for the approach!

The reason? I can only imagine that the tee was positioned short on one round of the US Open 2009 and WGT took this as a reference.

On an online scorecard of the course I find 478 (blue) and 430 (white), 417 (ladies).

    Edit:

Wikipedia shows the scorecards of both US Opens from 2002 and 2009 with 458 yds.

#9 Oakmont, #17 St Andrews and #15 Bethpage

Walking away with a par at those 3 holes is a major plus.

Totally depends on the wind and tees.

But...From the tips with anything worse than a tailwind, I'd have to give Oakmont #9 my vote. Still haven't played Olympic enough to say emphatically though. The first 5 there would probably get my vote for toughest stretch.
