We are the hardest hole ! A hole In one is never going to be made !

But some play shorter than the stated yardage.

    Well....

Before I got long, high loft clubs, it was BPB #15.  But now I have eagled it, and it has fallen from the top 2.  The stretch of first 6 at Olympic is the hardest stretch, but none of them individually makes top 3.

    BPB 15 - #3

ST A's 17 - #2 I've birdied this on occasion.  Never eagled it.  I can usually walk away with par.

Oak 9 - #1  I don't know that I can honestly say that I have ever birdied this hole.  I get to the turn (or end of the round if 9) saying "OK, just don't blow it here" and if I par I sigh happily

7th at St Andrews is a *** - even the pros dont like it.  All of Olympic is tough - too many sloping greens.

wow! so many great answers, but, the clear winners ahead of the pak were Oakmont 9, and Bethpage 15.

Like alot of people, I just hate BethPage 15.   I wish this game gave me the option of just taking a double without having to play it.   They might as well remove one of those bunkers and plant a huge Elm tree there.  It wouldn't change a thing anyhow!

http://www.wgt.com/replay.aspx?ID=b2186c9b-4239-4588-83bf-a04f00195362 This  is how to play Beth 15. I was in the game when this Eagle was made. If you keep hitting the same club and it keeps failing, what on earth would make you think anything will change ? There is no magic here on WGT.If a hole is being missed over and over it is not the fault of the hole !

Continuous bitching about how tough a hole is will never change anything. Learn how to play it ! The replay is courtesy of becyes btw.Who just happens to be a great friend and one of the best players on WGT......Do not mess with bec if you are easily intimidated  :)

Learning BPB#15 is eased by the fact that it is #1 of Best of Hardest.

Set up a CC tourney and restart it until you've got it!

It's quite funny actually, the last two times I've played BPB15 I've driven in the second cut rough and been forced to lay up. From the lay up I've had an easy par putt both times!

    zagraniczniak:

Some of the long par 3's, like the 11th at Royal St Gorgeous.

Yeah 11 can be a killer. The slope of the green on the front can make what looks like a great shot end up completely off the green and leaving you a very difficult chip, pitch or flop depending on how you want to play it. I have had everything from a HIO to a quad bogey 7 on it.
