Oakmont no.9 all day long is the hardest.

17th St Andrews with the back pin is tough. Front pin i birdie it more often than par.

3rd and 11th (the 2 par 3's) at St Georges in heavy winds are really tough holes.

I tend to struggle with the 5th and 8th (also 2 par 3's) at Kiawah just because the greens are tough. I'm happy to get par on both of those.

We are the hardest hole ! A hole In one is never going to be made !

But some play shorter than the stated yardage.

And yet some are closed for 'Sanding' !!! lol !!!

Number 2 at St. Andrews has a god-awful green that makes it nearly impossible to set up a birdie putt under 20 feet.

Number 4 at Kiawah also is a long par 4 that usually leaves you hitting 170-200 yards straight over a bunker to get to the pin. Usually you end up in that bunker or 20 yards past if shooting straight at the pin.

Yeah.......Hole #15 @ Bethpage Black gets my VOTE!!!

About the ONLY way I have learned to deal with this hole.....is to hit into the sand trap just below the hole (when the pin location is up close). Then, using a 64 wedge, I hit my ball just over and beyond the hole.....usually, my ball will roll back down to just below the hole.....and I can manage a PAR.  I have birdied this hole a few times.......but, dang, is there a STEEPER green on ANY WGT course???

Your kidding I hope. The lower pin now with the nike ball is a very legitimate birdie hole. JB

Damn, i thought I was the only one who had figured out the sandtrap trick!   For those of you who laugh or are going to say something else mean, it works for us.  I agree though.  It is rather a chicken was to play it.

    the leaders are:

    Oak 9: 13

    BPB 15: 14

    St. andys 17: 7

if your hole is not winning, keep trying!

    BPB #15 Eagle

This hole is only really difficult with the front pin placement with medium/high loft clubs.  Once you start using higher loft this hole becomes much easier when the hole is in the front.  Supposedly, the hole in the back is the easier option, but I get that pin placement so seldom that I am definitely better with the front hole.

It's Oakmont #9.  And it's not really that close.
