Very fun tourney, Loved the 3 single play rounds for sure.  As for my scoring, I'd like to only remember about the 58 in Round 2, and forget about the rest of it, lol.

Thanks WGT, great tourney. Single play is the way to go!

Ditto to the rest. Thrilling. Only thing that would make it more so is hiding the leaderboard until you tee off, or have a virtual leaderboard you can only look at when playing or after the round. That shows the leaders hole by hole.

Hats off to Dansamcam. To seperate from the field by 5 strokes like that is straight ballin! lol. Nice work Dansamcam! Don't spend all the money in one place.  Oh....wait =)

Well, I guarded my golf bag all night, so no "trick" golf balls

were loaded in my bag from the "opposing" caddy for round 3.

However, putting today was like shooting basketball at the

state fair booths where the rim is the same size as the ball.  The

Tournament speed greens were no problem otherwise.

    Wind was consistent.

Tough! Hardest possible conditions and beware the headwind at #14... :-P

    Cheers, Hans

I got that 27 mph headwind at 5 oclock...then watched my 3wood go 235 yards into it, laying up in the left fairway...and trickle OOB...lol!

    Great shooting BTW!

I was afraid of the same thing so i took the Tiger way out and layed up to the bunker, i would rather have parred than a bogey especially having a chance to get $100 (but did manage a birdie anyway.lol)

Yep as I thought, got home from work tnite and the comp had finished...lol.

Lucky I played the 2 rounds yesterday.

I think I got 30mph winds on #14... took me 3 good shots to get to green but rolled back down the hill and off. Saved par which was good.

Echo the comments of others; excellent tournament which is exactly how the events with major prizes should be run.

Congrats to Dan; simply awesomely, consistent shooting :)

Also enjoyed it a lot !! Was surprised to be leading with Dan after round 1 - my name was in first place, so he obviously only managed par on #18 as well I assume...

Enjoyed the tougher conditions on the following 2 rounds, but disappointed with a couple of putts in rd 3...

Looks like four of us finished in equal 10th - wonder if we all get $100 gift cards or do we get $25 each ??? Anyone with previous experience with this? I've never been this far up a leaderboard lol

oh, and congrats to Dan too... great stuff

Congratulations to Dan on a great win!

Yes, echo the thoughts, despite my blow-up in R3 (67 - yuk - although to be honest, I was just glad to find time to play over the weekend - and I don't want to open up the argument over winds in singe-play comps!) it was a really enjoyable Tournament - thanks WGT.

Unfortunately I think you'll miss out on the Gift Card as they only go to the Top 10 places (not ties). Albeella is from Denmark, so he is not eligible to win a prize, in which case Jim might sneak in in 10th. I could be wrong though - I hope so because you deserve to win a prize.

This sounds pretty much spot on to me; anyone who's not in a "valid" country is removed from the equation and then the top 10 in order get the prizes. Works the same in credit tournaments like the Legend Monthly Open; you often get ties for 2nd / 3rd but only the top three names ever receive credits.
