Hello my WGF padawans! Welcome to a special edition of YodaCast. We are getting close to the end of the Rio Tinto Championship and I figured I would report on a couple things. Round 3's deadline is Monday at 12pm GMT, that's 7am for my East coast American friends. So if you haven't played your round yet, please be sure to send out PM's AND post wall messages to your playing partner.

Well as of 1pm EST, we have a tie for first place. LuisCraveiro finished all three of his rounds at -18. And last night, Tour bad boy Kurtsbuford played his final round along side of Shankette (acting as a marker). Well Kurt showed up fully dressed (thankfully) and put on quite a show out on the course. He needed to shoot a 29 just to tie Luis and that's exactly what he did. He birdied the first 4 holes and then finished the round by birding the final 3 holes. So that puts him also with a score of -18 for all three rounds. So it would seem that the WGF Tour is set for it's second sudden death match this season.

But let's not jump the gun just yet. There are a couple other players that COULD either join the first place players, or with any luck overtake them. Mongo441 has the best chance. Mongo441 is sitting 6 shots behind first place and could take sole possession of first place with a 29 or better. Certainly not an impossible task as 3 others have done so in the third round. Also within range of at least tying for first place is poolmaniac6 and funkyjunkie3000 who are both at -10 currently. So they both would need a 28 to end up with a -18. And with an outside chance of shooting -18 for all three rounds is Christoff and OahuKahuna both sitting at -9. There are 27 other players who are sitting at -8 or below who have yet to play their third round.

So we still have plenty of golf left to be played here for the third round. One spectacular round by anyone could upset the top of the standings and change everything. Also, today is the start of the 5th week. The Qatar Masters!! The Qatar Masters I'm sure, will prove to be just as exciting as all the previous weeks here on the Tour. So don't miss any of the action, interviews, and comments from various players around the Tour. Stay tuned for more updates from yours truly. Until next time my friends. Good luck and may the force be with you! Good afternoon.......Planet Earth!!
