Equipment upgrades for newbie?

  I would recommend the Ping Raptors 2010 graphite's for irons, upgrading the wedges i agree is a must.  I used the WGT-SD balls until just recently. Good overall performance. I'd upgrade the putter from the starter putter. the Anser has just about the same meter speed with better overall performance. My 2-cents worth. :-)

  The most important thing to do first is add length off the tee. This wll give you shorter easier approach shots. Next would probably be a good putter. Putting seems to be the downfall of many good players and is probably the toughest thing to master on this game. My first club upgrade was the WGT Zebra full set, I used those all the way to the pro tier and were very forgiving
