LOL, I was expecting the same, for the 1st time, I was was kind of hoping for them. :-)

As for your questions, the R11s is definitely worth it. Don't really see the extra distance but the extra forgiveness is certainly noticeable, and if it can save you a few shots from the rough, then why not.

As for the wedge, the satin was already very good, but I prefer the ATV, not too much difference though, excepting for an extra yrd on the pitch and flop and a LOT more spin, I very rarely use spin on full shots now. The meter is a tiny bit slower but I don't think that's really an issue.

    Hope this helps.

    Good Moro!

    R11 D v R11s?

R11s - The forgiveness is (wgt chap look away please) unreal - has a total aversion to the rough.  Those wayward drives @ Oakmont that always, always go 1 yard into the rough now go in opposite direction and stay on the short stuff!

So yes, I'd say the R11s is worth the extra.

    50 yrd Satin v 50yrd ATV?

Can't comment on the 50yrd ATV but I know a man that can and the ATV gets the thumbs up. Again, and it's only my opinion, the 50 yrd Satin was a phenomenal club and probably my favourite ever in the game. I switched to the 60 yrd Cleveland and never really gave it a fair crack before changing back to the Satin - ended up switching back to Cleveland as the flop shots stop on a dime and am now comfortable with it.

Sold most of my previous clubs after upgrading but still hold on to my Satins for comfort when things seem to go awry. Not sure if in direct comparison re price etc that the ATV is that much better, others will clarify I'm sure.

Clue is that WGT withdrew the Satins around same time as the ATV clubs arrived on the scene... hmmm.

    Johnny.

Can someone explain to me where this driver is worth all those credits.

If I am hitting 9 out of 10 fairways does it mean by missing one by a few yards is worth all the fuss.

Well your stats say that your driving is at 74%, so it should definitely help. Your GIR is 70%, which should go up too with hitting more fairways.

The forgiveness certainly makes a difference.

    R11s fore sure.

Forgiveness is great.  Extra distance, if only a few yrds... that's a few yards closer to the pin.  Has a nice meter speed too. I think it's slower than the R11.

Not sure about the Wedges, so I won't comment on them.

First of all what my stats say don't mean a hill of beans. What I meant was if someone was hitting 9 out of 10 fairways would that one miss be worth the credits.

What my stats say don't mean a hill of beans. Also, the GIR stats don't include how many times my approach shots have ended up on the fringe.

It's not a personal attack with you, just saying that it does does help. I've had a number of shots where I've been a bit too early or late and stayed on the short stuff, where I'm pretty sure that with the R11 I would have been in the rough.
