    mnshiner:

Can someone explain to me where this driver is worth all those credits.

If I am hitting 9 out of 10 fairways does it mean by missing one by a few yards is worth all the fuss.

    Howdy mnshiner,

I too was loathe to change as I doubted the R11s would make much difference for the $$$ - it does - I promise if you try it and miss the ding with your opening tee shot you will be pleasantly surprised and probably embarrassed by how well it plays.

*You'll also get 424 credits back by selling the original R11.

Now ...where are those darn sprinklers ?!?!?!?!?

    ;o)

This R11s driver is why the game is slowly getting away from being realistic and why stats do not make you a winner. Please read the following:

    DRIVING ACCURACY:

No surprise that Joe Durant led the TOUR in driving accuracy in 2011, hitting 75.65 percent of fairways -- more than 14 percent higher than the TOUR average of 61.33 percent. This is the third time in the last six years that Durant has led the TOUR in that category; he has never finished outside the top 10 during that span.

Unfortunately for Durant, all that accuracy did not translate into success. In 25 starts, he produced just four top-25 finishes and none in the top 10 while missing 14 cuts. He did not qualify for the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup, finishing 149th in the points standings.

Durant, also deadly accurate with his irons -- he was third in greens in regulation.

Ahhh....  you are referring to real life golf.

Alas this is an online game - no more, no less.

Simple  'thanks for the advice, but no thanks' would have sufficed.

    Ciao.

As for your questions, the R11s is definitely worth it. Don't really see the extra distance but the extra forgiveness is certainly noticeable, and if it can save you a few shots from the rough, then why not.
Sorta answers my question then:Hit L88 in next 24hrs was getting R11 But if forgiveness is that important I may as well stay with L69 Rktballz (don't get much more forgiving than that) just wanted to marry up meter speeds a bit..Looks like i should wait till L94 i suppose ?? Andy

Up to you, but it's quite a wait between 88 & 94. The regular R11 is a very good driver and it will be an easy transition to the R11s and lvl 94.

I am getting the r11, because that is going to drive me insane, just to wait that long for a new driver. I like new stuff too much to be patient. They would have to put me in a asylum before level 94, because I might kill someone in the mean time. LOL! Just kidding.

ATV Wedges, bought them months ago, threw them in the bin shortly after, no match for clevelands.  As for the R11s, you can miss ding by a few cm's and ball will still go straight compared to the R11 where it will go straight into rough

Long long wait between levels 88 and 94.... I play daily and takes me almost 2 months or more to go from 89 to 90 and now 90 to 91..... I suggest buy the R11 and use it for those 6 months or more it takes to go thru those levels....

I think Durant needs to buy a L92 putter and figure out a wind calc.
