I'm new here by about a month. I'm just getting started in the world of golf having played 5 times now in the past three months. Going again tomorrow.

Hoping the games here and the people will help me learn what I need to know

Welcome mate!

1st help (hopefully) may be to drop those SWING clubs from your bag. They are easy to handle but produce very divergent results. You have free replacement clubs in your inventory.

Try & learn the meter thing on your way to improve your game.

If you play with Chrome browser, you may experience significant anormalies due to Flash. Check out the forum for help.

I agree, but they are OK to warm up to WGT with, not so much do score well, but to get used to WGT and it's idosyncrasies.

My tip for a n00b is to do ALL the instruction videos, they atent very long and worth it.

I also bookmarked this page http://www.wgt.com/help.aspx when i first joined, as it had a lot of answers and insight for me.

Get your ranked games up, at least 10 for a hack, and keep playing them as this is how your average is determined.

Thanks all so far. I'll check out the help files and videos. Wil continue to play the courses as that seems to help with the real game for club selection.
