HOW ABOUT THIS FOR A PRODUCT SUGGESTION:

  ABSOLUTELY FED UP WITH "PRECISION" CLUBS - YES! I'M WRITING IN CAPS BECAUSE, YES I'M YELLING.

  SEEMS TO BE ALWAYS ON THE SAME HOLE - BEAT MY BRAINS OUT TO BE 3 UNDER ON READY-GO KIAWAH BACK NINE.

  WIND FROM THE LEFT AT 5MPH, SET MARKER ON THE LEFT EDGE OF THE GREEN, ACTUALLY HIT ONE NOTCH TO THE LEFT OF THE DING.  BALL WENT DIRECTLY TO THE RIGHT OFF OF THE TEE AND LANDED 10-15 FEET INTO THE WATER, SPEND MONEY ON "PRECISION" CLUBS, AND THE BALL THAT ENDED UP IN THE WATER, IF I COULD HAVE, WOULD HAVE THROWN THE CLUBS IN AFTER.  SICK AND TIRED OF THE LOST BALLS, WATER, DEEP GRASS, GORSE/HEATHER.  HAD ONE ON SA THAT HIT ON THE FAIRWAY AND BOUNCED DIRECTLY TO THE RIGHT INTO THE GORSE/HEATHER (GUESS WHAT, LOST BALL) GO BACK AND BUY ANOTHER, WE GOT YOU AGAIN.

  I understand your frustration.. .and I understand why this would cause you to start yelling... And I understand that your post above is, more than likely, just venting.

  Perhaps a self-imposed haitus?  Take some time off, look at some other way to spend your free computer time, take a walk or maybe pick up a book?

  Something different may be in order for the short-term... no?

  haji, you missed the ding. what did you think was going to happen? You need to get a more forgiving club. That shot wouldn't have been that bad with a more forgiving club. A precision club means a precision ding for it to be effective.

  Yes, I missed the ding, however I did not miss the ding to the right, I missed the ding on the LEFT.  According to the game my ball should have gone to the left, not to the right into the lake.  If I had missed the ding to the right, I wouldn't be complaining.  Curiously, this happens quite often on this particular hole.  A real money maker, when you consider the number of rounds played on this nine, for WGT.

  precision means better results more often when hitting the sweet spot, forgiving means less drastic misses when not on the sweet spot. I think the OP is assuming the precision clubs make it easier to hit the 'ding' which is, of course, exactly the opposite. Harder to ding it, but more rewarding when you do.

  If you give the OP the benefit of the doubt I'm sure you'll see he has a case. He aimed left, missed the ding left and the ball goes right? I've never had this happen to me but I have the same irons and have seen a few WTF moments with them. Add to that the 3 under he was when it happened and I challenge anybody to say their first thought, had that happened to you, wasn't going to be about the same. The second thought is probably beastly vemish.
