    Ya i wonder why some are having more issues than others , while both use google chrome .

    The $64,000 question my friend.

    The $64,000 anwser is;

    They either need to take the computer to a professional tech and/or they need to have someone from their internet company look at their modem & service line.

    NOT all browsers or games will run effectively on 100% of computers as they for the most part have varied components that perform differently. This game utilizes a Lot of mid to high fluctuating processor use. If you don't have the ram, a duo or quad cpu, up to date motherboard & bios, a high speed video card with at least 512 K ram preferably 1gb, a 7200 rpm hard drive(can run on 5200 one but not as fast), maxed windows virtual memory settings, correct system optimization, reduced processes & services running,  internet modem & line connection optimized then your games will not run as smooth as a computer that does.

    All of these things contribute how a game will perform better on one computer or another. A lot of people don't know how to tweak their systems correctly to get the best use out of them, even with that on some systems they just don't have powerful enough components for games to run well. This where taking the computer to a professional can help. They will benchmark your system and either optimize it or let you know what it would take to upgrade ones computer so that it can play games better. If you have Windows 7 you can utilize a program that will benchmark and rate your system. If you do that and it will let you know what and where your systems weakness is.

    What you are saying here has nothing to do whats being discussed in this thread .

    So why post it ?

    One thing that is overlooked by most users. Most of the computer guys I know, do a fresh install of Windows every year. This is overkill for most people but 2 to 3 years is a good time.

    You so not see how slow your system is because it has been degrading and getting corrupt files, etc over time.

    Do a fresh install and it is amazing how much faster it becomes.

    If you do not have the know how to do it, you can take your system in and have it done. (also a great time to drop an SSD in there.)  They will back up all your data and reinstall your programs.

    It is something to think about if you have never had it done and your computer is two or three years old.

    IMO in 36 years of owning, building, teaching computers & software not 1 time have I ever or any of the tech people I have known willingly without good reason wiped out windows and reinstalled everything just for the sake of speeding up a computer. It takes hours to reload everything and update windows and all of the software and drivers I have. In less than that amount of time, I can defrag, check disk and run my computer cleaning software and have it running just as fast.

    The biggest problem is most people don't take the time to do the proper maintenance on their computers and without it over time your right it slows it down tremenduosly.

    But hey, if you like going through the hassle of wiping it out and reinstalling...more power to you.

    I agree with every word. There is no need to periodically wipe Windows, ever.

    I am using Chrome with Flash version 11.4.402.265, meter is smooth and I haven't had change my browser or re-enable Flash. I have auto-updates turned off and if it prompts me to update I simply say no.

    Apologies if I too am off topic here, but how come my Chrome version of Flash is no longer automatically updating. I disabled the dodgy version ages ago (by turning the clock back on my laptop a couple of weeks), but wouldn't even know how to disable automatic updates, and I'm stuck on an older version of Flash which is still making the game unplayable.

    I'm assuming, of course, that the current version automatically updated is a WGT-friendly one?
