So your saying a 25 MPH wind is going to drop 15 MPH at the 11:00 position B.S. at the most it drops to 19-20 MPH. It's 30degrees from 90 not 180
DON"T THINK SO
Not try ing to be argumentiative but helpful.

Most people would calculate 30 Degrees closer to 8:00 ocock.
I like most calculate degrees by angle not subtraction.

This is what the 15 mph wind drop was based on...
You didn't mention in your OP that you were Subtracting 30 degrees from 90 which would give you a 60 degree wind, which to me is closer to 10:00 oclock not 11:00 oclock and IMO at that you or anyone would need to have hit it around 175 yds to 176yds with bottom. I think even at 11 O'clock hitting it 163 would leave you short and you are right based on your 11:00 oclock I woudn't drop it 15mph for that.
I know I haven't been on here for years and I am by far one not of the best players but do get pretty close in high winds and others using my figures most of the time. All of which I got by trying and reformulating what others have posted in the forums. Do winds sometimes not do what you expect on here...You Bet, but that is only occasionally...But in no way would I have hit that shot 163 yds unless it was almost a direct 25mph tail wind.
