Years of playing competitive golf-- and never had a shot do this--unless it hit a stump!

Even golf must adhere to the laws of physics--btw--hundreds of players have had this shot going for the green in 2 at Bethpage Black #4

That was one of the funniest shots that I have ever seen on WGT! But what it does show is that this added bit of realism is way off the mark. BACK TO THE DRAWINGBOARDS, WGT.

    WGTadmin2:

Thanks for all the great feedback we are gathering the shot data now and will be tuning uneven lies accordingly

    Scale it back by 80-85%.

Played a few 3-holers, a skins round, and the bk9 at BPB, and at this point, my "lie" shots aren't much more than total guesswork.

WGT? Can I get some basis?... Are our aims supposed to change/stop the action of the "grid dots", or are the dots just a representation not meant to be changed ... during shot setup?

I've tried both ways, but got inconsistent results, thus my confusion.

Maybe it would help if we could see the lie representation in our replay of the shot.

What a joke!!! You did it all WRONG, WGT!

Was this ever been tested before launch???? OOOps....I forgot this is STILL a beta!

Edit: Another nice way to eat some extra balls!

I wish to HELP make this game better, rather than decide before a good trial!!I will say that the Orange box is approaching the unmanageable. I had a shot out of the sand, Orange box, and with a full 60 yd Sand Wedge, the ball went roughly 12 yds! I am almost certain this was NOT WTG's intention, so I humbly input that maybe it should be dialed back a few hairs! That shot should've gone 35 yds! Appreciate your attention to these posts; Well, Most of 'em!!!

Played RSG B9 with high winds and shot -1. Sand shots are a little different than real play, but over all game is more realistic. Now you know what real golf is like with these lies. The only thing I would do is let us know what the degree of slope is or the + or - is of that slope similar to when we are putting. This is so we can figure how much we are compensating on our left/right shots.
