I played Kiawah in a tournament and on the 14th my first shot ended up in a bunker up against the wall closest to the green

And probably had a red box around the ball. When you see this, try this. Move the aimer around and watch that box turn. Don't pay attention to where the aimer is, just watch that box and get it to a green state, flat. NOW look at where the aimer is and that is the direction you need to go to recover. Play a shot along that line.

It "seems" to be a bit better, not sure why, but it wasn't that bad with the exception of a bunker shot and somewhat unrealistic distances from fairway lies.

As far as execution of shots, if you are going to make it realistic, give us the ability to reposition our feet and open and close the club face.  Otherwise every shot is a crap shoot.  a Lack of consistency also exists with similar shots using the feature,

I think it needs a lot more adjustment and correction prior to a full release.

There is a LOT of good feedback in this thread. Someone should condense this into a question for MisterWGT and add to the list of questions/comments here.

Having MisterWGT play just one round with the uneven lies with one of our top players would communicate all the positives and negatives of uneven lies in the time it takes to play 18 holes. If one of the top players isn't available, I'll play him and say what needs to be said.

    yupps....and i'll add some too.

here's the best packaging for the uneven lies product.

If folks want to play it.....a little advice is to use free unlimited balls....don't waste decent ball life on this crapshoot.

Frankly it works very well with the starter balls and the starter clubs too IMO. There's a Starter Club and Ball plus Uneven Lies Stroke Play Tourney we're putting together. It's listed in the Community Organized Tourneys thread. How about giving it a go? You won't waste hits on expensive balls or dent up your better clubs. Also, some statistics are going to be put together regarding greens in reg and some others that you could help with. Once it's over the stats are going to be presented to WGT for their consideration when adjusting the uneven lies in the future.

Play and help make it better.
