THE FINAL OF THE ACCENTURE MATCHPLAY IS SET!!!!

    AllyKennedy (1) vs. Demcug (3)

Ally pips Carmine in the second semi-final to prevent the all-Italian clash from happening. Really excellent effort Carmine :)

Ally / Demetrio - you've got until Sunday evening to get the final played. I think you're availability should generally fit well so hopefully the final should be easy to arrange. Best of luck to you both and may the best man take the win in the final match of this tournament.

Yep not our best round, but Ally had a consistent game more than me. I missed lot of easy putts, but will never understand that approach of mine at 5... I know to place that kind of shots within 1-2 yds, 3 yds could be too much and I lost on a par 5! Next time let me fail on a par 3 WGT thanx lol :). Thank u for the game Ally and good luck guys for the final!

    The final is over!

It 'was not a good match where the pressure (meter problems :)) took over. Some wrong putt from less than 6 ft have to win the hole opponent. The famous lake of the 6th has collected another ball (my) resulting hole win for Ally.

But we analyze the final hole to hole:

    1 °

D Approach to 5 feet above the hole for an easy birdie

A approaches to right and up and missed a difficult putt 1 UP D

    2 °

A tee shot left into the rough 40-50 and the pitch rolls on the edge of the hole

A short tee shot to the right and not dinged does not make the birdie

    3 °

D ding, but the ball is short to 8 yds Par ....

A birdie from 9 ft AS

    4 °

A lot of advance and ball in deep rough on the par only

A Resounding approach and ball for an easy birdie 1 UP A

    5 °

D Brillant approach and ball 2 ft

    A x2 and birdie from 4 ft

    6 °

    D from 250 .. sdinged ... and lost ball

A putt from eagle does not fit, but the birdie enough. 2 UP A

    7 °

A putt from 18 ft does not fit, for a very short

A remains in the lower part of the green and fails to perform the miracle

    8 °

    D and A easy putt

    9 °

D go in the valley for easy approcch with 60 yds.

A sdinged with 2 ° and shot from the rough (30-40) is short and to the left. not birdie

            1 Up A

    10 °

D dinged, but short rest to 11 ft and right. Not easy but birdie

A tee-shot short in the rough but a resounding pitch allows him the birdie up 1 A

    (begin the Russian mountains)

    11 °

D approach with wood to 4ft for a great birdie

A long approach to 12 feet and can not putt the hard-AS

    12 ° (hole ***)

D approach to the right and slightly shorter but I can make a difficult putt

A better approach to 7 feet short, but the ball does not take the slope and go left. 1 UP D

    13 °

Two approaches under 6 ft but I'm wrong, the putt from 5 ft .... AS

    14 °

D Approach FB and the ball remains long to 11 ft (5 down) missed

A Approach to flow and the ball rises and falls to 1 ft. Birdie and 1 Up A

    15 °

D ° Approach beautiful 4.5-ft to the left .... but I'm wrong, incredibly putt (pressure?)

A tee shot misses (30-40 rough from 180 yds) but it makes a great output that allows you to pitch but this time is short 1 UP A

    16 °

D approach the 3rd with the punch (81 yds) but very early, and the rest at 8.8 ft on the left .... but I save the birdie

A mistake the 2nd (bunker) and fails to save the approach (12 ft long) and misses the putt also not easy. AS

    17 °

D is not an easy birdie from 11 feet (short and right)

A Great approcch and easy putt AS

    18 ° (13 to wind against)

    Two approaches with wood

D dinged but rest 11 ft short and slightly to the left

A Anticipate the shot and remains in fringe 16 ft ... try the miracle putt, but the ball sees the hole and decides to turn first AS

A heart beats fast ..... but I try bird, a difficult putt (right to left)

                                                      1 UP D

Thanks for playing and good company.

Hoping to play again with you and take a lot more ding.

What a strange match it was, numerous missed putts when dinged, back and forth with hardly a hole halved it seemed. Meter issues got to me and i was clicking early all the time by the end, Demetrio handled it better and is a deserving winner.

Congrats Dem and look forward to playing again in the future
