GIRLPOWER2:
Back when you offered the "Putter Pal" to ev1....it caused a lot of meter problems....and now the "Ball Boost"....which does the same.
Both can be turned off in the
Game Settings menu on the 1st Game Client page, or in the
Options menu during play.
GIRLPOWER2: I would like to see the condition of my "last ball of a particular type" before entering a game. nothing like showing up with just a thread of life left in your last Callaway....causes me to want to disconnect.
All you need to do is start a practice round, and on the 1st tee you can see how much 'life' your ball has left. Then end that practice round and start the game you wanted to play.
GIRLPOWER2: I would also like the ability to place in "Que" the next brand of ball to come into play that I have in my equipment....instead of the default WGT standard ball.
WGT notifies us when we start using our last ball of that make/model, and as part of that warning WGT gives us an opportunity to add a new sleeve of the balls to our bag right then.
Beyond that there are 2 issues to be aware of:
1. We can only equip our bag with 1 make/model of ball at a time. I suspect changing the programming during the game to allow for any but the equipped ball and the free starter ball would be a programming nightmare.
2. As stated above ther e is a provision in the Rules of Golf that allow a tournament committee (In our case WGT is the tournament committee) to invoke a local rule known as the One Ball Condition (Appendix 1, Part C, 1, c.). The One Ball Condition states that players must use the same make/model of ball for an entire round.
Procedure When Breach Discovered
When a player discovers that he has played a ball in breach of this condition, he must abandon that ball before playing from the next teeing ground and complete the round with a proper ball; otherwise, the player is disqualified. If discovery is made during play of a hole and the player elects to substitute a proper ball before completing that hole, the player must place a proper ball on the spot where the ball played in breach of the condition lay.”
WGT instead provides a free ball so we don't suffer a disqualification, or the 4 stroke (2 strokes for each of 2 consecutive holes) maximum Stroke play penalty that precedes disqualification.
