U.S. Virtual Open on Bethpage Black

  • Bethpage Black Course coming to WGT after the 2009 US Open
  • All competitions will be held @ www.USOPEN.com
    

  • USVO Closest to the Pin Competition starts April 13th

  • USVO Stroke Play qualifying from from May 25th-June 21st

  • USVO to be held on June 22nd

  • USVO winner earns a trip to the 2010 U.S. Open @ Pebble
    

  Wow indeed!  The WGT has definitely stepped up it's game.  Congratulations on securing the USGA endorsement.  That's something I don't believe even EA Sports has been able pull off.  This is probably only the tip of the iceberg for what's still to come.

   Incredible.  What an opportunity for WGT, and for all of us as well.  Bethpage is a Monster!  I'm headed there at the end of April with CKEVIN2.  I'll be sure to bring back some photos!

   Sounds great, will qualifiers get any prize? Cuz I don't plan on winning on Bethpage =) And does the winner get to play a round with the pros at pebble? :P Or "just" a spectator? I wanna play with Tiger!!!!! *sniffle*

   I have played the other golf game Tiger Woods, for some years now, but the latest upgrades to this game have caused me to give it up. This announcement is something EA could have never pulled off. This is a massive event in online golf. My hat is off to all of you at WGT for making this possible. I am not good enough to qualify, but just getting to do the skill challenge to me will be a thrill. I am clapping my hands in honour of the WGT staff.

  I am also not good enough to get in the virtual US Open.  After Tiger Woods 08 crashed in Windows Vista, thanks to WGT I was able to forget all about that game.

  WGT is the Best.  Good luck to everybody who enters the Virtual US Open.

   I assume it probably is, but does anyone know if this is only for american players?
