Trying  To  Operate  a CC, In a Proficient Way is very Testing  when Some of the Owners Working Tools do not Work  For Close on 10, months l have not been able to Delete out dated Posts Because the Delete function Simply Vanished and no longer Exists, or has DELETED  itself.

Time and Time again W.G.T  Promise to Fix these Glitches, But the Truth is Nothing ever gets Done,  and we are Trying to Run A Club without the Basic Computer Tools we Need.                                                                                                                                        Please  W.G.T  Get these  Basic Club Tools Working as they Should.

When I owned a CC I used proboards for my forum instead of the shietty forum WGT offers. Just my opinion. You would think as big as WGT has gotten that they could invest in a more functional forum for CC's and theirs as well.

I am sure they have their reasoning for not upgrading the forums and fixing those issues for CC owners but they havent publicly stated why.

No such problems reported on on our side.

The problem arises when the CC is handed from 1 person to another. 1 of the reasons i would like to have the ability to delete posts is this: whenever we get new members into the club, they go read all the old stuff on the WGT CC forums. Most of this stuff is no longer done in the club, as we have moved onto better things since setting up. But we always get new members confused as to what is what.

As an example: when we first set up the CC, we had certain rules. We now have about 4 different forums with rules, and each 1 is different to the other. Almost all CC's need rules, so its important to be able to correct this situation.

One way is to find the old rule thread, edit it and then bring it forward to the top by replying to it and saying the rules have been updated.

The owner can edit any thread. You could also pin it to the top so it doesn't get lost.

actually if ownership has been transferred, the new owner can NOT edit  threads or pin. This has been a problem for going on a year. Icon has commented on their awareness many times. But alas, it brings no cash to WGT, so its not a priority.
