Think Beyond the End of your Nose  Lobsterboy, its not Just a Case of Letting old Posts eventualy Time out,  we have a large active Forum that needs to be kept in a Respectable state fo all ages to Read,in the Case of unsavoury Comments and Any unacceptable language it needs to be Deleted from the Forum.  And you can start by being a little more Respectful in your Replies to this thread.

One way is to find the old rule thread, edit it and then bring it forward to the top by replying to it and saying the rules have been updated.

The owner can edit any thread. You could also pin it to the top so it doesn't get lost.

actually if ownership has been transferred, the new owner can NOT edit  threads or pin. This has been a problem for going on a year. Icon has commented on their awareness many times. But alas, it brings no cash to WGT, so its not a priority.

Actually, I am the recipient of ownership of a CC and I can edit, delte, pin, or whatever to any post on our form.  I am not sure why some can and others cannot.

Would also be handy to be able to delete whole threads and not just individual posts

This was a pretty good game up until lately. Now the program stops and starts in the middle of a stroke....what's up with that???? It's just all messed up....and when I try to reenter the site tells me they are already using that e-mail adress...

    This is strange.

Previous owner have transfer the CC to me & everything run fine with delete & edit options in the forum.  But did get a comments from original CC owner at one time  that it was not possible for him to add any post now.

Would appreciate if  somebody from WGT  indicate if there is any impact related to forum when there is  A  CC ownership transfer to an other member.

This is a bug, if he leaves the club then you re-invite him back in, that should fix it.

    ~ good luck, nan

l have Done all this its standard advice from w.g.t, Great if it works for some, but as l have said as the Author of this thread our Club has had this Problem for 10,months and Comeing on11,  The Bottom line is there are Problems wgt have know this for some time now, and they should get on with the job of Fixing all these old Glitches that have been blighting this game for  to long
