Yes, although i also Pm'd Icon with great enthusiasm about this idea, a couple of ready go's with uneven lies, like Olympic would mix up the scores brilliantly and you might have a "average" player winning with a 63, it will change the way you approach your game, either playing conservatively or attack & reward (or in my case attack and be PUNISHED!) I'm talking about attacking the pin at congressional #2 (new location), missing ding late and landing in bunker with steep AMBER lies. Yes i got out of bunker o.k but way way left and had no chance for par, so bunkers/rough  can cause you to double bogey rather than breaking par, much more realistic.  And now the Uneven lies are much more playable i think you will get a rush of entrants just for the chance of a new challenge

An unlimited play will still be won with a 54/55.

I agree with wanting to see the one and done scores but I doubt 54/55 will be a given in an unlimited try tournament. That's the whole purpose of getting the lies into play IMO. You won't be able to hit the exact same shots every time.

Perhaps both would be the best idea? Have some sort of free entry unlimited play to get people into at least trying the unevens and giving it their best effort. Also have some Ready Go's for the folks who like to wager on their game play. I don't like to wager so having ready go only Uneven lie tournaments isn't going to get me to enter. The idea of paying to play and losing credits to test the system for WGT makes no sense to me at all. Member free testing I have no problem with. In the end I hope they just make the uneven lies the norm and get it over with. When I first joined I assumed it that way and directed approach shots with the ground lie in mind. I hit it all over the place and couldn't understand what was wrong until i found out the ground was "level" everywhere.

I wouldn't want to see it as an unlimited play. I wanna see what the best scores are when someone's got 1 chance at it. I wanna see if the scores will change from what they are now. An unlimited play will still be won with a 54/55. Lets have a tournament where it feels good to have made birdie instead of one where you can just start again if you don't.

You know it makes sense Wgt. Single play all the way.

Totally agree. Especially given that it costs balls to play at a competitive level, I really don't see the point of unlimited play...

Regarding type, perhaps it would be better first to have a regular free entry tourney, and later, if things go fine, can also be a RG.

This in itself is the reason for unlimited tourneys. Mo money..........

"I say, nope uneven lies??? really why? have not tryed it and will try it when it becomes the "Normal" but otherwise really doesnt interest me in the least love the game as it is. I much would prefer new courses, mixed up courses (A all Par 3 and Par 5 course for example) then this uneven lies crap. No disrespect to the developers but in real golf uneven lies is rare. You hit the fairway aim for green hit again. The uneven stuff does happen but far less then every dam shot. LMAO"

Yer obviously NOT from West Virjenny :-)

It would be cool to see a few low credit uneven Ready-goes as well as maybe a monthly single play tournament.  It would keep the interest up, and  it would be great to see a 65 win!
