I think that the solution is have more of the free rental weekends.  That gets a lot of players excited about clubs and increases buying

I wrote this in another thread but this is IMO the reason why there haven't been any in a while.

There was only 1 in 9 months I've been playing (during The Masters). I'm pretty sure I know why they don't do it more often. All the restarters and multis could just rent clubs for 4 days (free), storm through a ton of RG's and win enough to buy clubs without actually buying any credits.

Another can of worms, where the paying customer gets bent over. I for agree that when you rent a club,  it seems to be exactly what you needed, until you buy it, then it may be 2
% better than what you had. A couple of months ago, I sold back everything I figured I would never use again.  First time I had ever done this, what a damn joke. I got 16.00 and change for almost a hundred that I had spent. Any how, like I have said in many prior posts, the WGT plan is working, and working well. Icon needs a big promotion, and Supreme Pizza needs a raise. The powers at WGT can damn sure afford it. The admin people who speak to us, are not the ones laughing all the way to the bank.

I think it's fair that we let you rent the club before committing to a purchase you know will refunded at a severely reduced amount compared to purchase price.

I think what WGT are trying to say is bend over and just take what we give you, and how dare you for not thanking us about it.   Very classy indeed.

Here is something WGT may want to think about.

I agree, renting a club is a great idea.  However, if you don't like the club, then you are only out the rental fee. But, conversely, you rent the club, you like it, now you want to buy it.  Now the player is out the rental fee plus the full purchase price of the club.

I think a good compromise would be to apply the rental cost towards the full purchase price, assuming the club you rented is still in inventory.    WGT, still makes money on the full purchase price of the club, and the player is not out of pocket on the rental fee.

lol......as if things weren't bag enough.....now I have folks posting on my wall begging for max putters.

    too funny.

on a serious note....i realise wgt need to make money. i've spent a tidy sum in the 2 years i've played this game and don't really regret any of it...i've had huge fun.

all i ask is for a sensible and fair pricing structure.

as Stinger said above......we get charged for rental.....then get charged full bat for buying....and if we decide to sell back.....even within a 24 hour period we lose 75% of what it cost..

    it's not right.
