forfeited games that are not

  every game i play at the moment says i have for-forfeited  it when i return to my pc and log in, what is going on ???????????????????????????????????????

  Amen presh, I have been a loyal wgt player since 2008 and i have never been so disappointed then i am with  wgt and the new % of play. I struggled with internet connection and with the help of wgt, made the proper adjustments to the pop up settings, but now i stick it out on alternate games only to see others bail and have to wait 4 minutes and then still have wgt tell ME that I have fortfeited the game? Come on WGT, Give us an avenue to contact you directly and tell you how your new % format is flawed. Perhaps if you cut back on all the pop up adds you would listen to players who have been with you since the beginning. *(2008!)

  same here!! I don't really blog much , but was just going to ask the same question.

  I also have had the same driving average of 258 yds. even though I upgraded my driver months ago and have consistently driven 275 to 300+ yds.!! I'm sure my average should have increased a yard or two.LOL

  My friend and i play 18 every morning and usually i lose but i never forfeit, but my screen says i forfeit everyday as soon as we set up a stroke play game.  i just dont pay any attention to it.  and i still have just as much fun.

  It just happened to me too.

  I am another WGT lover.  I take all the good and the bad as part of this game, but I have to agree with you since this percentage thing is the only stone in my shoe.  I sent a loud message to all my friends saying that from now on I am a quitter, since I quit paying any attention to that % anymore.  I commit myself to finish all the games I get into, but I cannot assure that WGT, or Flash, or Internet, or servers, or any strange thing, will not fail on the completion of a game.  Besides that, I have tons of fun with players from all over the world and make new (gaming) friends every day ... Cheers to that !

  stange how someone quit and forfeits the game and wins!  it happen n he only played i think was two holes!

  Same here... I know that I finish almost every games because the screen comes up showing the top three players. I cycle through the WGT pages to exit the game and STILL when I logback onto the site I get the message that I forfieted the last game...this happens much too often... I wouldn't care much exept that other players look at the game completion percentage and decide if they want a quitter in their game.

  Another problem with the "new and improved" WGT, is the overall game play. When I play a 5 iron with a slight 4mph right to left wind, and  hit the sweetspot on the meter, I DO NOT expect the ball to go flying off the back of the green on a 190 yd shot. It's almost like club choice, set-up, and playing the course don't matter anymore.

  This is sad for what once was a really nice online golf game. At one time I recommended WGT to my friends....now I don't even mention it.

  This happens to me quite often, players disconnect and my % goes down.  WGT is also taking balls out of play that are not. All have been just off the fairway in the 1st or 2nd cut., but WGT flashes, ball taken out of play or something like that.

  I think you have to click the "Main Menu" button when your game is finished.  In other words, go back to the Main Menu BEFORE you close the window. This solved the problem for me.
