There are folks on here who are so defensive regarding WGT, you'd think it is a religion...or cult even.**

Dammit YJ, I thought it was ~your~ turn to bring the virgin for the sacrifice!!!

Maybe we could roll a drunk that nobody would notice missing....  hmmmmm.

The coven will take care of him...........they're out collecting the twigs and sticks for the bonfire.

@dave-All kidding aside I could see where you would get that impression. It's just that after a while you see the pattern develop. Your frustrations coupled with impossible leaderboards lead to serious aggravation. Totally been there and done that myself but I never ranted about it. I just kept hacking away and eventually the game made sense. Some people never get it, for whatever reason, and usually wind up screaming about it here. It gets a little old. JMO

YankeeJim... Agree with you.  i think a lot of people come here after playing golf simulation games where the most basic thinking/strategy pays off.  Here. to score really well you have to learn all the nuances of every hole and commit them to memory (or paper) and learn which shots to play, which not to play.  That is why I've chosen to remain Pro for now.  I don't have the inclination or time to figure it all out.  In my estimation "dinging" is 10% of the game here.  90% is mental, strategy and game organization.

I mean by that would definitely been keen to enter starter clubs only tournaments. In my opinion, the amateur rank should be only for those with starter clubs. Leave the pro ranks to those that pay for their equipment.

I agree. I've posted many +8 rounds without ever dinging a shot.    :)

Definition of sandbagger,  someione that could be master   but   Chooses  to not count the scores that can get them there.

I would not have pointed this out, but there are many   that think sandbagging is a bad thing. Should you not play at whatever lever you are  to even out the playing field.

Maybe this is how some of the Amatures are beating the pros, and Pros beating the masters , because they are not who they represent themselvs to be!
