New in-game credits display. PLEASE REMOVE!

  I want ingame credits display in the upper left corner to be removed, it looks really bad there, it has no sense there and I keep clicking on it accidentaly, when I want to click my name and compare stats with my opponents. Another meaningless feature from WGT, remove it and repair not working awards instead...

  At last some reasonable words! I also feel very strongly against this completely idiotic and ugly addition. It somehow really puts me off, as I have background in graphics design, and the whole left section now appears overwhelmingly awkward and crowded. But there is also the issue of pointlessness, as buying credits in mid-game never happens, would it only be because you cannot upgrade your equipment before the game ends. And that is normal. In real life, you never say to your play buddies: "Wait there while I run to the golf shop to buy a new driver."

  Come on, WGT, please hear reason and relieve us of the said addition, which I positively despise.

  I agree.

  I wholly understand WGT's desire to create a "faster" route to the purchase of credits - particularly for newer users of this site.

  BUT....How about some relief for those of us who have purchased credits in the past?  I don't need to see this - and particularly dismayed that it was in some part responsible for Loading issues over the weekend of May 29-31.

  SUGGESTION:  Some way of taking this thing AWAY for those of us who have already demonstrated an ability to spend $$ on credits?  We know how to do it - a constant marketing reminder is not necessary.  Maybe it is a "benefit" of reaching a certain tier level - not to see The Orange Thing.

  Thanks for your comments guys.  Some like the in-game credit display, some do not.  That's understandable.  However,  if it's not something you will use then I would simply recommend ignoring it.

  There are players that enjoy having the shortcut available and have commented to that effect.  I passed along the suggestion for an option to have it removed when this thread was first posted, but if that happens it would probably just be an option at best.

  Then PLEASE -- out of respect for the many players who see the in-game credits display as an unsightly, annoying, and invasive form of marketing harassment to encourage players to spend more money -- create ASAP that option to remove this damn in-game credits display!

  Oh please.  He said he passed it on, that is the extent of WGTNiv's abilities in this.

  I would much rather have WGT spend more time on just about anything else than have them waste valuable resources on something merely 'cosmetic'.

  Look, no one can see your total credits but you.  That something this trivial has some players' panties in a bunch is mind boggling.

  I honestly don't give a *** if other players see or not see the said in-game credits display. The problem is that I SEE IT! And I positively resent that for the reasons I gave.

  Oh, and by the way, bud, this is a video game and so visual appeal - among other legitimate concerns - is of prime importance.
