  Oakmont hole #9. From the fairway I have 201 yds to the pin with 27ft elevation. I hit my 3H rated at 220 high loft club, full BS,  I figure 215 to pin to clear the bunker. Hit the shot, dinged the meter, the ball looks to land in front of the pin and procedes to bounce and roll 55yds all the way to the building in the backgraound. Now if you call this real you need to be in the White House with the other idiots.

  There is a down slope there. You are already coming in at a bad trajectory for that shot and then you hit that slope.......that ball is not ever going to stop.

  Hey Duff i hear you my friend but you have to realize this is in the top5 hardest courses full stop. You tame this beast, you can tame anything. You will get there but there is lots of practice needed.

  How dare you call them idiots!! They are morons more suited to domestic housekeeping, cooking and being never seen or heard...but always gracious. It's a nightmare.

  At my age I have no regrets to what I say, If that was a down slope why was return shot a down slope, 6'  as a matter of fact. But the ball stopped dead when it landed. Lets see what happens on this course when the LPGA get on it, very interesting to watch I bet.

  Those guy,s on the hill can't cook anything except the books.
