    andyson:
Right, you might be able to access it but can you play it without stutter and lag?

Yes, of course you can. Just like any PC, with proper maintenance you will be able to play WGT near flawlessly.

    andyson:
You can't always do diligent maintenance and tweaking on a different PC.

Whatever is stopping you from doing this is not insurmountable and is not unique to any PC. If you are hinting at administrative rights on this post, Andyson, that's a pretty weak argument.

Well. I'm not sure what exactly what it was but ive fixed it. :) I'm pretty sure it was this.

Unistalled my mouse, and reinstalled it and updated drivers. Tooled with dpi settings in mouse.

Unistalled flash and restarted machine. Then installed newest version of flash.

Thanks for the tips all. I'd like to really thank WGT for offering no help. No worries WGTPizza, we will help ourselves in operating your game swimmingly on our machines. :)

The USB polling rate is set very low so it causes the ding click to be erratic at best.  I had to buy a mouse with software that allows you to change the polling rate - been great ever since.

You sir, nailed it on the head I believe. I sent you a sleeve of balls, same ones that are in your bag now. Thanks for the help.

Much obliged BM - although really wasn't necessary.  I just hope that your problem is solved.

    Buggyyy:

I really dislike the fact that this game is so dependent on technical specifications. I wish WGT had more stable connections with their servers.

What about the fact that, if you have a WGT account, you can access it on nearly any machine, anywhere with no need for occupying HD space due to it being a flash-based, browser game?

That is the trade off. That is the model our business follows.

It can be accessed anywhere like me at work now ! but try to play its just unplayable in some enviroments unless i start tweaking all the office comps which i don`t think i`ll do that for some reason ! access to wgt YES playable NO ! AS Simple as that !

Thats exactly the point Nat11. Pizza throws out this line of play anywhere, its complete bullsh*t.

I just bought a computer that can play any new game on it w/ the highest fps possible. Yet the meter on WGT is tottally unplayable. Just goes to show this game is on the wrong platform.

WGTPizza, please shows me dozens of threads on Windows8 issues w/ meter.

Instead of trying to help at all, you hijacked the thread and changed its subject to "WGT can be played anywhere anytime" and all that blah blah.

Wow BM, so much spite!  ;)

I won't back down, though. WGT can be accessed nearly anywhere. The trade off for that is your system must be optimally configured. If you require a gaming environment that is limited to a single dedicated machine (console, or install required on a PC) then WGT is not for you.

WGT requires a machine that is configured properly. Games that are installed on to your machine, or run on a gaming console, does not require the same frequency or importance of optimization. This is the trade off, make no mistake.

BM, if you are having trouble with WGT on Windows 8, there are several threads explaining how to perform maintenance, and even if they aren't specifically for Windows 8, they will help you.

There was no hijacking, if you read my original post, it was responding to the comment directly above it. Let's calm down a bit, BM. Keep it respectful.

in every new flash version, wgt update, PC upgrade, new machine, etc... the meter and mouse click timing will be affected. What Genorb said is true... all those windows' complements mess with the meter.

A while ago... i found the solution in a program called "tune up utilities" that aloud you to put you PC at a high performance... but the most important feature is a "turbo mode" in which all windows aero, transparency and everything else... is gone with a simple click. and when you are done playing you can go back, with another click, to the normal mode.

I have 2g Ram and a 1.7 Ghz simple processor and I rarely get an meter problem, only when antivirus start running an update without permission, (is the only thing I haven't set up yet ).   I can't play in another PC,.

In a side comment, every now and then I need to go to chrome settings to disable one of the flash versions (when 2 or more are running, I don't know why). this make the meter to lag after the click,  this was a common problem a while ago that I was never able to solve so  I lose a ball every now and then because i click very late :)

    cheers.
