While in chat we need an ignore button so we can chat with other players while blocking those who offend us. The button should inform the offender that they are being ignored by players not wanting to hear their trash talk.

Once you get a few more friends at your level and you participate in Country Club tourneys more and with Country Club members, you will eliminate the children who boost their ego by abusing people behind the safety of their keyboard.

Shame you had to encounter them at all.

But to help make the site better for everyone you can report the offender - preferably saving a screenshot - to members@wgt.com They really do take action against such people.

Totally agree with Shrude, and it is a very small minority of players who also have single digit IQs.

Whether an ignore button is ever added I don't know, but best thing is to screen shot it and send to members@wgt.com. and don't succumb to these juveniles.

Most people I have played with are the opposite, so just enjoy the game.

A little tip is to also put a post it note over the the flashing chat icon, so as not to get detracted with it flashing it they continue to send abuse.
