WGT....can you build Multi-Round CTTH tournaments?

  I am by no means a CTTH expert or have played 1000 games.  I have searched to see if this has been brought up in previous posts as not to “restart” another active thread and could not find.

   

  My question is...can WGT start/build a multi-round CTTH tournament.  This can go both in stroke play or within Country Club tournaments.

   

  When I try to build a tournament for our Country Club (shoot out to Blue Heron members) and select CTTH, it defaults to a single game.  I think it would be cool to have a 4 game CTTH were all distances are added for a final score....just like normal multi-round tournaments.

   

  Thoughts?

   

  Again, apologize if this has already been brought up but I couldn’t find this on the boards anywhere.

  Great suggestion USMC!

  I tried to do this the other day in my CC with no luck. In addition to that, we currently have the ability to set the duration of each round in a multi-round tourney in our CC's, but wouldn't  it be fun to set the duration of a multi-round CTTH tourney....say 4 CTTH rounds in 24 hours or 48 hours?

  Just to change things up, add something new to the mix.

  In his chat on the 20th MisterWGT said that this would coming soon. I think he meant in the next update.

  Actually this was one of my questions in the Oct version of Ask Mr Wgt......he answered it right there for the world to see, yes my name in lights :-)  and said it would be up in 2 weeks.....

  Well that was over 6 weeks ago.....but have no fear, he answered the same question in this Nov Ask Mr Wgt session, and yes, once again answered it would be up and running in a couple weeks....

  Who will be the lucky one to ask it in the Dec Ask Mr Wgt session and be told it will be up and running in a couple weeks? Who knows, but it could be a new monthly game :-)

  6 weeks ago? He mentioned that in the chat on November 20th.It won't be 2 weeks until this coming Tuesday. So I am assuming it is coming in the next update which should next week.

  All....thanks for the information and quick replies, this game  and community rocks!

  Yeah, I’m with you mrcaddie, I think it would be a great addition to Country Clubs and was exactly what I was thinking.  That is where I spend most my time.  Also want to apologize for my “ignorance” in not realizing that Stroke Play was already set up that way....my bust.

  As Samantha states....it could be a new game we all can play; wonder what the trophy will look like?

  I would rather see single round CTTH's for the Country Clubs. The same as stroke play, if you quit before your last shot you get a WD. That way someone cannot try it 1000 times if they had the time and stamina to do it. Especially if credits are on the line.
