    DAZZA501:

I only tend to get meter jumps with my putter but i put that down to it being a slower meter speed. I've always had it happen for as long as i can remember. I just let it run through once and then it's fine on the 2nd time.

As far as the R11 irons go i do occasionally get it speed up right at the end causing me to click late which can be annoying. The weird thing is it always seems to happen on certain holes like the 16th (par 3) at Oakmont or the 3rd (another par 3) at Olympic for example.

My R11 3 iron is like a freight train when getting close to the ding and that's using Callaways s.

Back a while ago when the G1-SD ball came out and was the rage there was discussion about the possibility of the meter balls themselves causing meter issues. This was before Nikes and Callaways.  The reason I bring this up is because it may be another way to look at the problem. What if it's the ball causing the nonsense?

I ask simply because I don't see a change in the R11s like is being pointed out in this thread and I use the Tour-SD ball.

Only thing I've noticed this last couple of weeks as have a few of my friends are that the R11's precision is being fiddled with. Their consistency is going going gone.

I agree 100% with this i have noticed the same with my R11's hell if u off a hair its off track by 10 15 yrds left or right kinda crazy an its just making it harder to set up for your shots with all these heavy winds they been using in the monthly turnys.... cause i sure cant predicted if i will hit early or late i always go for the ding so its always a gamble for me 50/50 chance ding or miss so everyday i play is just on a hope an prayer that i get better at quessing lmao........

    METER PROBS,

i have been using maxthon3 an it been working great for me,,, also i seen someone say it only happens with putting,,,  thats cause your computer is working harder,,, watch your CPU it will always spike when putting its because of the grid its playing like a video now,,, unlike when geting ready to tee off or a fairway shot..........

good luck an hope all works out for yall....

Jim I am using the Callaways with the R11 irons and the only problems I am having with the meter is just my inability to ding it as often as I would like to. No skips or stutters. It is possible that the people having so much trouble right now rented many many clubs during the free rental weekend and didn't clear their cache afterwards causing their club specs to be corrupted.

If some ones meter only skips or stutters when putting I would tend to think that they have the putting grid turned on. This can cause many meter problems that only happen when putting or chipping if the grid stays on then too.

I use the Maxthon 3 browser and I have not had any problems with the meter on any club. Went about a month with no issues then got the occasional skip, I went through and cleaned out the browser and now it is very smooth again.

Nope my putting grid is turned off but i still only get meter spikes when putting. I've even tried different putters and it's still the same. Like i said earlier in the thread, if i let it go once and then try again the meter is fine on the 2nd go down. Just sometimes i forget and it catches me out.
